After all the horrible things that happened to Yeonduk, he better not forgive Skyler so easily. I know it was a misunderstanding, but what Skyler did to him was pretty terrible
and yeonduk too took all the gifts from skylers mom in exchange of looking after him. skyler behaved that way because he was feeling betrayed. skyler is more of a victim than yeonduk is
He was a kid sweetcheeks. So you obviously need to go back and re-read. Since the FACT that he was a kid means he was UNAWARE that Skyler's mother was pawning the gifts off on him to deliberately make it look like he was doing it solely for what he could gain. And if you had read you would have seen that is NOT the case. He was also pressured into accepting Yujin's gifts BY HIS OWN FAMILY. That you are blaming Yeonduk who is a victim shows who the REAL victim is. Skyler also already knew what a pos his mother was, so blaming Yeonduk when SKYLER should have known better, by YOUR 'logic', again shows who the REAL victim is.
At least Skyler finally grew up a little, but only in the latest full chapter did we ACTUALLY see that. Ktbn.
Yeonduk is not the only kid. Skyler is the same age.
You say Skyler should have realized that his mom is manipulating both of them. Doesn't the same apply to Yeonduk?
Skyler shared a secret with him and he promised not to reveal it to anyone and soon after he disclosed it to Skyler's mom, Skyler's behaviour towards him changed. He could have put 2 and 2 together too but he did not. Obviously because he is a child.
The same goes for Skyler. Everyone around him is manipulative and self-serving. Yeonduk's mom was doing everything that Skyler's mom wanted so she and her family can have a better quality of life (husband's job, children's fee and all that). So as a child, it is natural that he assumes that Yeonduk is the same considering that the mom scolds Skyler all the time and makes it sound like Yeonduk has been snitching on him (even if he wasn't). Also, Yeonduk did betray his trust and does follow him around as per his mother's orders, accept handouts and stuff that are dear to Skyler (like the guitar). Skyler can't read minds just as Yeonduk can't. They are both victim of circumstances and the behaviour is portrayed quite realistically.
So don't make stuff up just to push your agenda based on what character you identified with.
