I'm so mad this was so different on the light novel. This manga was so mediocre unlike the light novel which was so detailed and much more enjoyable to read.
Even the part where he talks to the Gods was so fun to read and yet in this bullshit manga it was like shallow level introduction.
And the way he dedicates his life just to research slime was so good and yet it's like a passing moment here on manga.

Just read or download epub on asian novel. I'm tellin u all it's worth it.
It is a decision made to keep the flow going. In manga you cannot put to much details as in a novel or it will become too text heavy, too many pannels etc. That will cause the manga to feel stuffy and in the end boring to read. So yes if you want more detail and use your own imagination than read the novel. It's a preference ;)
