Just finished both this and the sequel. Does anyone know what is the meaning behind the title?
Unless it was already explained in the manhwa, I think it’s because both MCs fell for each other in a quiet way. Like the feeling of love crept in without a sound, accumulating with each interaction… and before they knew it, they had already fallen deep. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Ao was Takeo’s sexual awakening. Ao and Shingo’s relationship was the turning point that shifted Takeo’s view on love. He went from wanting something casual to wanting to create a life-long relationship. Without the events from the prequel, Takeo might have never looked in Wako’s direction. And even if he falls for Wako, it would have taken longer for Takeo to realize his feelings because Wako was determined to never confess to a man who only loves women.
I do think it’s inevitable that Takeo falls for Wako because Wako has always been his number one priority. But it would be mad traumatic if AU Takeo figures out those feelings after he marries a woman. *cough* knock on wood *cough*
That argument in ch.5 was a mess because neither Takeo nor Wako were on the same page and both were too stubborn to give in to the other. Wako, being the self-deprecating fool that he is, wanted to know who was the first guy Takeo loved because he still thinks Takeo loves that guy. Takeo, on the other hand, is frustrated with Wako not believing his love and thinking he is in love with another. It’s almost like his love is a joke to Wako.
Even the trigger of that argument was a misunderstanding. Takeo saw Wako’s expression after speaking with Shingo and wanted to find out how Shingo made Wako upset. While, Wako thought it was because Takeo had something to hide. And maybe subconsciously, Takeo does want to hide this. This is his first serious relationship, and he is constantly afraid his lover would flee. This anxiety is new to Takeo and he is unsure how to deal with it. With casual relationships, if things don’t work out, just break up. But neither wants to break up and thank goodness they worked things out somehow. On that note, I want to read a sequel where they grow into more mature versions of themselves ahhhhh ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
I honestly would love to see more of Takeo’s POV though, because I can imagine all that angst underneath his calm composure.

He’s still friends with Hangyeol but in a different major and Suho doesn’t like him, which is why we don’t see him in the last chapters.
Also, I was never convinced he liked Hangyeol romantically. That staircase scene was to push Hangyeol out of his comfort zone (aka help him confess). My theory is that he was a loner due to his appearance and rumors of him being a delinquent (or maybe he was one and wanted a fresh start), so when he transferred schools, to get close to someone he made up that lie. He’s definitely their Cupid. Like Dohyeok said, just having one friend in your life is a great accomplishment. Now that Suho is Hangyeol’s lover, he can finally step in as that close friend. Mission accomplished! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I kinda like it when stories have some gaps and don’t explain each character’s fate in exact details because it’s like the story hasn’t concluded yet and characters still live on with their lives.

if I had a nickel for every time a ML seems like a green flag but is actually a red flag by the end of season 1, I’ll have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice. (Also, my theory is that the MC doesn’t love ML and is under mind control; no spoilers pls)

That doesn’t make sense per say because the mind control esper would’ve picked up on it.. also the amount of reconsideration the ML does for his actions makes him more to be a yellow flag than red. He’s always taking the MC’s consideration into effect.
And if the ML really tried to mind control he would’ve mind controlled his best friend first but his friend still held his contempt for him throughout the story.

I read some of the novel mtl, and iirc...
Yool had a pretty awful childhood. He expressed as an esper early on and had trouble controlling it, so was always in pain. His family pretty much locked him up in a villa somewhere and hired people to look after him. Obviously, his caretakers were always at risk and everyone was scared of him. One of the caretakers was a single father (I think?) who brought his son along. The son, MC, was the same age as Yool and basically became the only person who didn't treat Yool like a monster. Unfortunately, MC wasn't a guide, didn't even know why Yool was stuck there and in pain, and couldn't even feel Yool's ability trying to reach out to him. At some point, Yool one-sidedly imprinted on MC. No idea how that works, but anyway. I think MC doesn't remember b/c he was young and honestly didn't know kid Yool that long.

Mc had a mum but yools powers kinda expoded as a accident killing mc mum when she came to take mc home
and bc of yool mc wasnt a guide esper or normal human and yool had a one sided imprint
he didnt have memories bc yool made a deal with mc dad after the incident to erase all his memorys before ten cuz he became rlly quiet and tramatized cuz his mum ded and his dad wasnt very emotionally avalable cuz he had to deal with his trauma but he rlly regreted neglecting his son
But mc dad had to allow ml to get with mc after 21 years but mc has the choice to be with him (mc dad added this)
saw another comment say that Hyesung (the omega friend) got jealous of Geon’s closeness with Hyundal, and i’m all for it. i think it happens around ch. 25(?). it’s refreshing to see a jealous friend who is jealous because u are growing distant and not because they’re secretly in love with u. i don’t need a love triangle! he seems like a great friend, so i hope they resolve their issues and stay friends.
