yep that duke is probably her real father, the fact that he got camilla's eyes and her brother's hair. i want to know why the mother run away and marry another duke if the father of her children is already from a duke. does she not love him? is she force to marry someone? some obstacles? oR she's just a shitty mother? did the duke really lost the ring or he gave it to camilla's mother? my theory is that potentially his family disapproved of him being with a commoner so he might’ve tried to run away with her but eventually his family found him so he gave camilla’s mom that ring and probably told her to run away with the kids. i’m literally just pulling this outta my ass but yeah that’s what i think. especially considering that they had 2 kids i feel like they might’ve been genuinely in love. otherwise she would’ve stopped it at her first born if she was really after his status but couldn’t get it.
