i think it's the opposite, the newer generations are more stable so it seems like it's less likely for their powers to activate if they're provoked. even adam should've considered situations like this happening esp given his military training. they're letting a literal weapon of mass destruction out willy nilly. if there hasn't been before, i'd be really surprised if there wasn't any public outrage from this.
Yeah, especially scenarios like this where his or other humans lives could be at risk. They should have at least had some training on how to handle these situations, if someone tries to shoot you don’t destroy the building etc. Learning how to drink tea could have come later.

i really like jin, he's a real homie and i totally get why charin fell for him. i loved that there wasn't even a trap to fall into when tehir tried to goad him. jin doesn't have an ego and respects charin as an individual, as opposed to tehir who miscalculated bc he could only see charin as an object of possession.
but i don't want charin and jin to be a pairing. jin remolded himself to get charin's approval and the power imbalance in that type of dynamic isn't easy to undo. i'd rather jin continue to see charin as just a person he really admires.
