It's called bad writing. A lot of these types of mangas just don't have well written female characters who aren't just there to be the mc's concubines. I have dropped this now. I was reading it DESPITE the female characters. The actual story was interesting. It would be better if there was zero "romance" in it.
yeah unfortunately in a lot of this manhwas they make the female characters' world revolve around the mc and have little to no personality, such a shame because a really like this kind of stories so i continue reading them while trying to ignore the awful romance （￣へ￣）

i avoided reading this for a while scared of the horror genre but it is actually so good???? literally finished it in three hours without leaving my phone and i want to see moreeeee. absolutely recommended and the horror makes it even more interesting and also the plot twist??? whole cinema right here ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
all this to make us feel bad for her but it just makes me believe she's stupid. they always talked about her like a genius and rational person but after all this she just looks naive and dumb. i dont like her and i hope bichir doesn't forgive her that easily. also, if they wanted her to look delusional then they could have use the "hes alive i swear" but they decided to pull all this shit istg i hate all her character stupid ass girl.

I'm at ch 23 and I have the same feeling. It's interesting, but also kind of boring. The characters lack a certain depth imo, which I'm sure they'll get into later, but we were thrown headfirst into this story where all the ML's friends die and then his brother, his only family left in the world, joins them not long after... He also immediately broke his promise to not kill really quickly, which gave me weird vibes as well.
Not to mention how we're continuously just thrown new characters left and right. Suddenly we get a backstory for those kids, but, oops, now they're gone too. What? Multiple times the audience is introduced to a character just for them to die the next chapter. It just feels like a bad attempt at MHA where everything is super rushed and everyone is super OP. Will also be dropping.
