I love how this manhwa portrays the reality of women in the past to the present(because there are still many societies in the present that don't recognise women's rights), and doesn't shy away from addressing social inequality. It really makes one appreciate what our predecessors have done for us to be able to enjoy what we have today
this backstory reminds me so much the plot of miss pendleton. suffering so much at the hand of social standing, law and trashy male relatives. injustice and insufferable people make my blood boil.
