Chepali + Park Jiyeon collab? I will treasure this story with my whole life. I love them. I love this. I'm really inlove with park jiyeon's art and the way they visualize intimate scenes, explicit or not. Chepali's stories really don't leave plotholes and park jiyeon being involve in the storytelling is just *chef's kiss* I really love their works I will die for them.
Recommending my fave works by these two while I'm here:
- Wolf in the house
- Momentum
- Hyanghyeon text

Misha and Gian. Eric and Louis. These couples, I would actually die for them. I discovered this manhwa through wolf in the house and I swear, the author is just so good at creating real art. Each stories just goes right through my heart. The characters feels more alive than it should be. It's supposed to be a drawing damnit! Why am I attached now ㅠㅠ

It took me a while to look for this manwha again after forgetting the title so I'm gonna leave a topic comment here so I can go back whenever I want. This story probably got to be one of the best plot ever ngl. A little fast paced though I admit, but good lord it's so rare to find a story that has no annoying characters esp the main characters and their friends. I do love a good ol' mature peeps. I love the family theme as well so the story just doesnt revolves around the settings and their love story.

There is something about this story that seperates it from other stories. The way it was told was not something you would usually see in a bl manhwa. There is something that made it so vulnerable and real, as if Yeowoon was a real friend to me who is telling me his story. Reading this felt like watching a sunset at han river while having a deep conversation with an old friend with a stick of smoke between our lips. It's hard to really locate the right words for it, so all I can really say is it's an art. A real art. And for me, this is real. A real story I've heard in real world.

If we're going to talk about the flow of the story, I would say it's 5/5, in terms of characterisation based on humanistic traits, 5/5 as well. Jooin was an annoying mofo I admit, but his flaws is what made him human. We tend to get mad at the scenes where he just made all these sorts of wrong decisions, and that's because that's how we'll react in real life. If we see our friend making the obvious wrong decision, it just angers us, and we get angry at ourselves when it's us who were wrong. So getting mad at Jooin is valid. However, saying that the writing for his character was shit is I think, very wrong. We grow to love Cain because he's the most ideal (He's my fave, luv him so much), and that makes him more fictional. We tend to get attracted to beautiful things, and not the broken ones. So building a character like Jooin to show humanistic traits is quite good. Though that is just my opinion, but I really appreciate characters that are very flawed and very close to us in reality. I grew fond of Yahwi (I've been into my toxic era as well and still going for the better change) the same way I understand Jooin and I guess that's also why it makes more sense for them to get together, since I think we all agree that Cain is way better off without Jooin, lol he's too good for him tbf.
In terms of story, IT JUST GETS BETTER AT THE END. I really really really love how Jooin didn't pick between them during with all these chaos. At that time, he didn't deserve any of them, not even Yahwi since he was trying so hard for himself, so going with their own individual path was the best choice. I thought each and every one of these main characters need their healing time and boy, they sure did. Love the fact that they started again as a blank canvas, and this time, as better individuals so I feel no resentment towards any characters at the end.
What i could only wish was I hope Cain wasn't introduced that late because he seemed like a homewrecker while in fact his goals were just to stick with Jooin and protect him (He's a dog, of course he's protective) from the pain that Yahwi was causing. I personally do not like dogs but I can make an exemption.
Dayum I'm such a sucker for childhood friends to lovers I will puke rainbows after this. I love how they grow as an individual together, achieved their dreams together, and went through hardships together. This is the most unrealistic, fantastical, dreamy, whimsical story I've read. This is the perfect escape manhua if you want to forget about your reality and just want to feel super happy in life. I love them. I love this trope.
P.S: Ting-jiejie is my queen. I love her sm
