Good heavens I have never love a story as much as this I think I'm about to cry for finishing it. I've been attached to stories but not to the point where I could cry for finishing it but this???? My god I'm feeling so emotional. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STORY UWAAHHHHH! No critic, just love. As an ex-MMO player, I feel nostalgic from their settings. I miss my clanmates. I miss my gaming days. I miss being a higher ranker and grinding 24/7 without sleep. Arcadia reminds me of Dragon Raja with my loli character. I feel nauseous from nostalgia.
And I love how the story balances the part where they interact through game and interact in real life. Usually, they only use the game set up as an introduction and then completely forget about it as the story progresses as if game couples that became irl couples would actually stop playing after being preoccupied with each other. BUT THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS! Them playing together is a DATE! It's a form of couple BONDING! They should KEEP PLAYING! anyway! Heejae and Seyoung are my babies now. I love the backstory as well, it just explain the actions and decisions they do. And Seyoung is my kin, we crave for genuine connection but afraid of getting into one :c I wish they both can hug each other's sad forever :'c
The dynamic of this quartet is so damn funny I can't help but laugh every time they interact. I didn't expect to love this story so much. Seungha and Jaehyun is just that one meme of " I can't stand this bitch" to "me and my bestie" 5 minutes later. Plus the fact that Seungtae was the "lit major boy" I'm crying shit tears from laughing at this part, it was so fucking embarrassing I had to stop reading for a minute and laugh out loud. The storytelling was effin' good bruv you will not regret reading this. And Seungtae is so poetic, I can't forget that line of " are we festering or rotting?", that kinda hits ya' know. Anyway, I will keep these 4 deeply in my heart. Especially Jeahyun and Seungtae, they're my precious babies now
I didn't know a 4-5 chapter story can pack so much things. The story is literally complete, no plothole, no more questions asked and they managed to fit it inside 4-5 chapters like that's a goodass storytelling my god. I love them so much, everything just flowed so smoothly with them, their relationship felt like calm waves, it put me in so much ease.
I barely finished the 1st season because it was so tiring to read for some unknown reason. MC is such a whore, I dropped it at 2nd season when he kissed Jisung after learning why he was left behind while ML was going around from town to town to find some fucking medicine for him. He's a real whore my fucking god. I don't blame him for what happened with Yusaran but he also fucked Beakrang so where do we go from here? Anyway, that kissing scene with jisung was my last thread of patience with this story. It's so fucking long just to find out it's not worth it. Good thing I checked the topic comments after that chapter. I seriously love traumatic stories, I live for it. Hell, I weirdly even love the manhwa warehouse, but this??? Nah. This ain't it. Sura deserves a stronger lover. He should have ended up with Yusaran instead.
Hmmmm I love it. There's so many underlying traumas here. These bitches can pack up many more traumas to come.
Jokes aside, I love how the story made you understand both of them. Yes, it's fucked up. Yes, it's not justifiable. Yes, it's unforgivable. But that doesn't mean we cannot understand their human side. Or maybe I just love fucked up stories. I guess trauma x trauma is just my thing. This is like 5 steps ahead of form of sympathy. I love that story too.
Can't believe a simple switch up of powerclass can change a lot of things. This is peak omegaverse
PS: Puppy tops are the best. They're so pathetically in love. I personally love the heart in hyeonoh's eyes when they have sex
Leaving this topic comment here so if I decided to come back and give this another try, I can easily see it.
But no, srsly, for a vampire concept, it gets boring easily. The plot can literally work without the vampire theme, they should have utilized that concept more by world building. It's such a waste of opportunity to just use it as a side idea for the story to go on. If you try to remove the vampire elements, you could literally substitute it for something more normal and the story would still work, and that isn't supposed to happen if the concept was utilized properly. Dropped this in chapter 23, I can't feel any chemistry between the couples as well so I got easily bored with it.
Dayum they look like beefleaf so much. I really thought it was he xuan with de-aged shi qingxuan
Let's all be real. Gunchan saved everyone in this story. If Elian didn't fall in love with this straightforward man, every single character would have been dead. I love his resting bitch face yet he's got that shap tongue as sharp as his intuition. I also love how he exploited minhoon and hyungwoo's lovestory as a payback from the 15 years of stress these two had given him. I'm rooting for his life goal of turning the mother of their group, jisoon, into a kin to become immortal.
My second GOAT is minhoon. He just exudes this sexy power aura whenever he enters the frame. More power to him. More power to these bottoms! HOWEVER! It baffles me how minhoon managed to balance out his work in the filming set as the production manager and their kin management plans. Do you have any idea how stressful being a production manager is!? It's the worst ever, especially with their large scale production and out of the country location, plus these vampires causing lots of delay in the shoot. I probably would have gotten some brain nerve damage after the production.
PS: in every single time they postpone or delay their shoot, there is also a crying assistant director at the corner.
I forgot the name of that manhwa or manhua that has a very pretty white long-haired bottom that turns into a snake. Pls help me find it ╥﹏╥
If you like this concept, you'll like the second couple. Don't let the other comments change your mind. I like wonho and eunwoo's story a lot. I think with how complicated they made things are, their story became more intriguing for me. They're not supposed to be likeable, but a representation of realistic toxic people, and real people are far more complicated than it should be bc we always make bad decisions. Same goes for these characters. I absolutely hate cheaters, however, in wonho's story, there is more to it. It's not like he's having sex with these people for fun, it's just that his passion for acting turned into greed and that's another mistake he had made because that made him sacrifice his self, his relationship, and minki.
Anyway, I just love how complicated they are as a character. And if you're gonna argue with my comment, all I can say is you wouldn't last an hour in the asylum where they raised me, no matter what you would say, you cannot change my mind as I am aware of their flaws and I accept them as it is.
I busted my eyes by crying so hard because of these two. They're probably the best brothers I've ever encounter in my entire life. And Euihyun deserves more pampering, he had been through a lot. I wish for more Taeju spoiling Euihyun especially in his pregnancy in their upcoming side story.
Why am I only discovering this now? I remembered seeing this story way WAY back when it was still ongoing and I just saw this again ㅠㅠ this is really cute. The art is really cute. And the stories were also cute
I thought Juyeon would be a psycho manipulative killer who is obsessed with Dojin. I'm sorry Juyeon for misjudging you. My bad, bro.
I started reading this bc I saw the word "film director" in the summary do I knew I just had to check it out. And I didn't expect to love it. This is one of the few manhwas with misunderstanding trope that I don't hate. With their characteristics, it's already been establish that their relationship and their story isn't gonna go smoothly. JJH is a certified overthinker and you would get why. It hurts to be in his shoes as he feels guilty and hurt and confused. He kept rejecting affection and love because that feeling was too foreign for him and it scared him. While YHG/YHK didn't want to tell him the truth about his feelings when JJH first asked him was because it felt a little unfair to his side and plus the fact that even if he did confessed earlier, it,'s not like JJH would believe him anyway. His anxiety to lose JJH was also completely valid to his character as social class structure was already established from the start.
I love stories that establish the settings and trope as earlier as the start so every thought, move, and decision from the characters were already backed up. To make it short, it got some good storytelling going on here as well as world building.
+ The smut was sexy as fuck jfc my imaginary dick went up a lot of times
Dayum I'm such a sucker for childhood friends to lovers I will puke rainbows after this. I love how they grow as an individual together, achieved their dreams together, and went through hardships together. This is the most unrealistic, fantastical, dreamy, whimsical story I've read. This is the perfect escape manhua if you want to forget about your reality and just want to feel super happy in life. I love them. I love this trope.
P.S: Ting-jiejie is my queen. I love her sm
There is something so annoying and mediocre about this story that also makes you so addicted and invested to it. It's like a meh food that got splashed with a handful of MSG, and now you find it soooo good and entertaining yet it annoys the fuck outa' ya bc you aren't supposed to like it that much.
OTHER THAN THE PLOT AND WORLD BUILDING, I LOVE IT WHEN THEY TURN INTO A BIRD THEYRE SO CUTE, MIGHT SQUISH. And Dojin the ghost caretaker, I love him whenever he takes care of Kid. Like he bought toys for her and made the whole living room her playground, I might actually cry he's so dad for that.
Chepali + Park Jiyeon collab? I will treasure this story with my whole life. I love them. I love this. I'm really inlove with park jiyeon's art and the way they visualize intimate scenes, explicit or not. Chepali's stories really don't leave plotholes and park jiyeon being involve in the storytelling is just *chef's kiss* I really love their works I will die for them.
Recommending my fave works by these two while I'm here:
- Wolf in the house
- Momentum
- Hyanghyeon text
