They're not really repeated. My best guess is that the translated Vol.5 Ch.2.1 to 3.2 is actually all Ch.2? Makes no perfect sense, but the japanese bits at the beginning of those chapters all say "Ch.2" part 1 (2.1.) and part 2 (2.2, 3.1 & 3.2). No idea why. Maybe it IS indeed one big chapter or maybe one is a half chaper!? But the raws are definitely Ch.3 to 6.

Yeah, Sol and Lorkan (blonde) are the twin dragons. Lorkan came to earth and fell for Brian but knew he couldn’t have him because Brian loved Sol. Lorkan basically kills Brian so that he can have Brian’s reincarnation. Lorkan lost his dragon powers because he harmed a human. However, he went to another god with the power to create worlds and struck a deal, he received powers from that god and a civilization to rule over in return for establishing a religion around that god. Season 1 then begins by showing us Ian, who Lorkan found as a child after reincarnating, with no idea that the Cardinal Heron he trusts so much is the villain.
Sol hasn’t told Ian the truth yet because he’s afraid it’ll hurt him.
