I'm on chapter 8 and I'm confused on why the solders have time take an inhibitor
if i remember correctly, it has to do with the fact they are not allowed to reproduce. Yea they can have sex (the inhibitor had a side effect erectile dysfunction which was removed but still it stops them from reproducing), but reproduction without the city's consent is strictly forbidden. In the novel it mentions the city provides the soldiers with condoms but they aint allowed to make babies so yuh.

What's the difference between King's Maker Triple Crown and Kings Maker? Because they start off differently. Is one a sequel?

I believe the first season can be read only at King’s Maker (PG version). After the first season, you can hop into this version and read the rest without going back and forth. The reason why the first season isn’t on this one is, well, because they’re kids and nothing smutty happens until they’re grown up ╮(￣▽￣)╭
