Honestly, I didn’t like the story at all for several reasons... At first, I thought it was good, and I was looking forward to seeing how the MC would begin to understand emotions over time, and how his feelings toward the ML would gradually change...
But making him sleep with other people — that was just too much.
The first time might be somewhat acceptable, since he still didn’t understand what was wrong or what he truly felt... so you could overlook it.
But the second time? It was just absolutely disgusting and unnecessary. ...
It completely made me lose interest.
I rushed through the rest of the story and didn’t even bother to read the side stories.....
What’s the point of making the MC sleep with someone else like that near the end of the story?
And the ML’s reaction was so unrealistic and strange…

While certainly not as deep as Horus, I believe Seth still loves Horus. why else did he get upset when the engagement between Horus and Hathor wasn't completely nullified yet? plus Seth is probably gradually moving on from his ex wife

The author/story make Seth and his wife love like the Great Wall of chna that Horus can never get over! At point I don't see how it can be fixed and showcase the Seth finally love more after he has done so much for his wife after 2 season I just so disappointed. The author wrote on twitter that HorusxSeth are endgame which is like.....HUH. It has to a really huge reason of why Horus should go back to him. I hate that the author makes Horus so weak and never makes him stand up for his self against Seth. I would be so proud of Horus if the author gave him a new lover who showed him what real love was, who never hurt him and would always put Horus first above anyone else. It would be so powerful to see for his character after Horus has been trying to find true love in Seth.
I would hate that and I can see it happen too! Then Seth is going to realize that the FG is jerk and that he should have stayed with Horus. Which will be so below someone as nice as Horus. Yes, Horus needs a lot of development. The author never cared to development Horus character until now. Even then I feel like she is going to rush his development because deep down she doesn't care about him. Other character have had more development than Horus by now and he is the second lead of the story. I feel all the author is going to do is let Seth say 'I love you" and she thinks that will fix everything. This would have been better if this was called an adventure story instead of calling it bl/yaoi.
The whole point of this story was for Horus to finally win Seth heart but it's like the author throw the plot in the trash after this chapter. The only ways to fix it is if Seth finally kills his wife for Horus. Which we know would never happen and it would not make any sense for Seth's character to ever harm her after 2 season old his deep love for her.
Of course, that’s never going to happen...

I was just reading Falling Sheep and it did not have a happy ending and it was really good. The ending made sense for the story. I am glad the author was not afraid to do that type of ending. The author never development Horus enough to make people care about his character outside of being Seth's boyfriend.

My Personal Thoughts on the Novel .....
(spoiler spoiler and very very long)
Honestly, I didn’t like the story at all… for several reasons.
.The most important reason is that
1) I deeply pitied the ML (main lead).
* He went through extreme trauma as a child. He and his friend (the SML) were test subjects, but he endured far worse.
* His family exploited him and showed no concern for his feelings.
*The only thing keeping him alive was the memory of meeting the MC ten years ago and the hope of seeing him again. But when that finally happened?
The MC didn’t remember him at all and only recalled the SML saving him — even though it was the ML who actually saved his life.
&The ML sacrificed everything — his energy, his life, ( and they both imprinting) . ML did it, certain that he was going to die. It was his last hope to save MC and let him live.
He was the one who gave him , precious necklace meant to be given only to a life partner.
*After surviving, he had to take on a new identity and When he met the MC again (now a doctor), he was suffering from an unstable condition caused by a one-sided imprinting.
He was in constant pain and close to breaking down.
He was genuinely excited to meet the only person he ever loved.
But the MC had no memory of him — and even worse, he was constantly flirting with the SML...
The ML had remained faithful all those years — he never even dated anyone else.
And now, the person he longed for was showing affection to someone else right in front of him.
*The only person the ML trusted was the SML, and now that friend had become his rival. It was hellish.
He never told anyone about what happened. He was afraid that if he got close to the MC, it might put him in danger. So he stayed away, silently suffering..
I honestly don’t know how he survived emotionally.

2) I didn't like the MC's personality :
*After being saved, he lived a relatively normal, social life. He had dated people before.
Yet he acted naïve, like he was new to these things.
He continued to flirt with SML under the pretext that he was his lifesaver and it was only natural for him to like him.
Even after officially dating ML,
There was a lot of Physical contact, cause he's feeling guilty and it is okay, he's his teacher.
Even in the side stories, the ML was constantly hurt.
Another person (a patient also treated by the MC) began to show interest in the ML, and the MC didn’t even notice...
Even when the ML told him , he just brushed it off, thinking the ML’s jealousy was immature.
He kept caring about that other person, thinking they might be traumatized — completely ignoring the ML’s obvious distress and insecurity.
The ML had to endure all of this silently because he promised not to interfere with the MC's work.

3) I didn’t like the SmL , (good person but he was just… too clingy).
What also frustrated me The story wasn't presented as a love triangle, nor was there even a third party,(Keywords) which I found very strange.
How could it not be? For more than half of the story, you don't know who the ML is?
Even in the second part of the novel, there are many scenes between SmL and Dr,
and the ML appears less often, There is even more than one chapter explaining his pov from his first meeting with the dr ...
so you wonder if he's really the ML?
The Dr also thought about dating him more than once. He thinks he's his savior, a kind and handsome person, and comfortable to be with. But he backs out every time. .....
Eventually, he comes to the conclusion that he's just comfortable with him and doesn't think of him as a lover
Only later, when he thought about the ML, did his heart race and he fells safer with him more .
But that took far too long ......
But I don’t blame the SmL — the MC led him on constantly....
To the point that when the SmL found out about the MC and ML’s relationship, he was deeply hurt...

I was frustrated through the whole story:
To be honest, I started skimming many parts just to get through it.
I hated how the MC was portrayed — easily the worst character for me.
The ML was only there to be jealous all the time, and the MC would just say it’s cute or childish.
Like: “Oh, he’s just inexperienced. Maybe it’s because it’s his first relationship.”
And is it necessary that every person who appears must like the dr and the ML must be jealous ?
Jealousy is fine sometimes, but when it’s constant from beginning to end — mixed with feelings of inferiority and fear — it’s exhausting.
One heartbreaking moment made me hate the story even more:
When they were officially dating, and because of the Dr's conversation with the center commander, he began to remember the past and the little person he was with (there's a 5-year difference between them).
He began to feel suffocated and shocked.
The ML tried to calm him down, but he was dreaming and screaming the SML's name. ...
(misunderstanding) but was so painful. .....
His heart was aching .....
He didn't know what to do. ....
He called SmL to come because Dr. was asking for him.
The SmL sarcastically told him it was pathtic that he couldn't do such a simple thing as calm him down, and several other words....
The ML was so embarrassed.
He didn't want to call him, but he was afraid for Dr. He thought he was the most important thing, not his feelings, so he left......

You're right. I read the raws till 40 on newtoki and out of let say 20, atleast 17 comments were about how people hated watching that dream sequence. They said it was maybe the author just wanted to fulfill their personal desire of drawing a 3p scene. Or that maybe the other guy was touching mc while he was out cold drunk hence the dream includes him... The mc also called out ML's name when the other guy was touching him...then it's not clear whether he left right away or did something more...we know that this prosecutor confessed his feelings ( like telling him that he could use the paperbag kept somewhere in the car to help the mc with his hyperventilation but kissed him anyway so mc knows) n maybe that's why the dream. .

I actually hate the sequence so much and like you I'm also not really interested in the story after this but let's say I'm trying to rationalize mc's behaviour anyhow haha. Like how the mc (in the dream) came to his senses when the prosecutor asked him to see who he is under n then mc said something like we can't do this...n then enters ML. So what I thought was maybe the prosecutor was in the dream coz he actually touched the mc but the ml wasn't even there but the mc still dreamt of him. Now the dream itself was messed up...like there's no penetration but the fact that the mc is okay being done by the prosecutor right after knowing all about the tragic story of the ml just because he was fondled a bit is definitely kinda disgusting to me too personally.

Not to say I totally hate it when 3rd parties are introduced...but what matters to me is the neither the ml not the mc should get shaken even when someone tries to shake them up, their feelings and heart should remain in place i.e. only beating for one another haha. If that's the case then, in fact, I love seeing the drama that the 3rd parties create but are still unsuccessful in swaying either of the main characters. Like for e.g. Even if you don't love me. And, I don't like rape scenes too but let's say if there's such a scene where the mc is totally unwilling and feels disgusted by someone else's touch or (god forbid) is drugged n doesn't know what's happening to them n in their heart they still only want the ml and NO ONE ELSE, like for e.g. Ianryun(not the best example but close coz the mc never comes to like the abuser but is always drugged so he climaxes. By pissed off I mean it doesn't necessarily have to be the crucifixion of the ML but... many of the readers don't want the mc to choose such a ml... they're like..ugh bring someone else who doesn't have a past or present of sleeping around or choose the 2nd ml etc( n personally I prefer that too but then why is it okay when the mc is a fboy?). This is just the mc privilege or smt...like no matter what you do you get chosen by everyone...but you only choose the ones who don't get involved with others.
