ok but like-- does anyone actually know any mmo's like this? I would die for a game like this, bonus points if guilds were a big thing and it wasnt completely dark and medieval like most mmos ಥ_ಥ

Toram online?? Your class depends on what weapon you choose. For example there is staff (mage), katana, sword, halberd, bow, etc.. You can customize your character, can explore, kill monsters/farm. It also has a guild. You can form teams(party) with others, hire mercenary or register to become one, etc..
Another one is Genshin Impact! Based on what others say, it's the best free-to-play action RPG out there. Haven't played it tho (lack storage).

i think illusion is actually directly inspired by maplestory! i’ve seen what i’m pretty sure were official caps of the novel with maplestory character sprites for neu/jstar attached to them.
i don’t know how much guilds matter because i haven’t played it in years, but it’s definitely really bright and cute if you want to take a look at it.

THANK U!! I'll have to check out Toram Online!! Ive played genshin and I wasnt the biggest fan because I expected it to be an MMORPG and downloaded as soon as it released a few years back but it was very basic play structure and multi was super limited. In my personal opinion, youre not missing too much besides the character collection and gacha when in comparison to an MMO!! (┬┬﹏┬┬)

I really appreciate Taeju genuinely apologizing like this. We even see how sorry he is and how much he genuinely loves Euihyun, he was humiliated but swallowed his pride for him, which shows he really does put Euihyun and Euiyoung above himself. As long as Euihyun forgives him, I think they can turn out healthy. I adore this character growth, even if he was an absolute jerk at first he really is trying to change to be better for the people he wants to be family

IDK what you would call stories like this that make you feel immersed in the world, but I love it. Honestly, Ilay is a horrible person but he makes a great character plot-wise. I appreciate that Taeui makes realistic decisions for his character, like impulsively taking his anger out and letting his human nature show. It gives him a lot of depth even as an "average" character. I absolutely love that Ilay is in a position of authority now, it adds so many potential paths to the plot and I'm in love with this whole story. It feels thorough and deep, similar to Circumstances of a Fallen Lord. I love this "slow-burn" feel where the characters grow relationships steadily and are treated as though they would be in actual society.
can we switch Tak out for his brother plz
Sorry, I meant to hit . Wish there was a way to fix it!!
LOL ITS OK I DO THAT ALL THE TIME BAHAHAH
