The author stated this fact on her space ..yes he has been through a lot of shit from his childhood till his adulthood and the way he treat all these men alongside Jo and tj i know its toxic and horrible but its also something he inherited from his mother since she brings a lot of men as we saw in Ian’s flashbacks . . even tj went through a lot of shit but at least he got used to the gang life ( also he put Ian in some shit but Ian decided to ignore all that cause he knew everything will end between him and tj ) till he managed to not get any single criminal records .. but I can’t deny that the author also stated that all characters will change Tj will change Ian will change Jo also gonna change and all their fates are intertwined .. and it’s decided who’s Ian gonna end up with ( the author didn’t even hint who he is but she said that ) .. I’m sorry to tell you that Jamie is the bad guy of this story .. but when I saw the chapter where Jo visited his family and the flashback of him with his father teaching him hunting ( English isn’t my first language so I’m sorry if u don’t get what I say ) there was a scene Jo is looking at his gun and he took that gun .. I don’t think Jo will become a bad guy .. but maybe he will use that gun one day maybe in defending himself or anyone he cared about cause that Jamie guy isn’t planning for something good lol .

I totally get what you mean. Jake is hilarious in an unconventional way. I love his wittiness the most. He’s an amazingly well rounded character. And the armpit fetish was really outta left field which was pretty funny tbh
