I don't want to doubt someone but I think they're people so obsessed with manhwa because are from Korea thank Japanese manga feel inferior for them and they lower it. I have seen manhwa with poorly stories, character, Etc., that have a better rating than this one.

to actually answer your question,,
I think a lot of people prefer manhwa because it is in color. I used to have that stage but got over it once i realized how much i love the deep stories of manga.
It could also be because mangas are so short (5-6 chapter) and people want something longer.
The rating is lower cuz its not mainstream.
