This so underwhelming. It makes everything in the previous chapters seems pointless not once did we get a hint about this outcome which makes this unbelievable. Choosing your friend does not mean having a romantic relationship with them!! Unless there are extra chapters explaining what the hell happened I do not accept this ending and will always mark this manga as unfinished.
I don't care if it's on shounen jump it doesn't justify this ending!!

Jun is originally the girl if you look in the first chapter he has nail polish on if she was a boy at first that would have never happened and kaoru had her legs wide open showing her panties showing she wasn't used to wearing a skirts showing she was originally a boy
but jun refers to kaoru as she even in male form
