The ending was hella rushed. Too many subplots that should have been explored but were left hanging. Inhye and his trouble finding a job, also his relationship with the photographer girl. The girl with glasses and her sadistic nature. Seungpyo and his girlfriend, wth happened to them? These are some of the characters that seemed to be important but were completely useless. Author probably had plans for them but for whatever reason dropped it.
Now the ending of our main couple...
*sighs*
Loved Gahee’s liberal spirit, but there was so little development in her character. She’s just too one-dimensional in my opinion... lost my interest in her, and honestly I wish she would have just continued her liberal lifestyle. Sungha is just a pure-hearted guy and I believe he deserved better. There is no way that he is happy with Gahee still not loving him. Wish the had broken up or at least seen a little character development in Gahee.
Gahee should have been the main character, she was interesting but the lack of development/focus just made me not care for her at all.
This started off great but ended poorly.
Ok so what I got from this chapter is that Taku is changing the way he wants to conquer Haesoo’s heart. Haesoo, as we all know, is too passive and won’t make the first move out of fear. This is what sorta ruined his relationship with Joowon over the past years. Taku has realized this and is trying to “make him feel bad” as in making Haesoo realize that it isn’t fair that he isn’t coming to terms with his feelings thus probably allowing Taku to make his move, which is taking Joowon’s spot in Haesoo’s heart and replacing it with himself, basically “filling the void” and “pushing him (Joowon) away” as much as possible.
It’s a good decision cause waiting for Haesoo would never let the relationship progress since he’s still unintentionally infatuated with Joowon. Taku is stepping up his game! ( fingers crossed it works)
The problem is it's not the game. Haesoo wanted time to think, to heal his heart after breakup so he wouldn't jump into new relationship when his heart won't be 100 pr in it. So the cycle won't repeat and once again he won't start relationship with someone because he feels lonely and heartbroken. So for once he will stand by himself and won't have to depend on someone.
But Taku wants answer now. He didn't give him time Haesoo needed.
I get your point, but Haesoo is the type of person that if he isn’t pushed then he won’t “move on”. He’s been like that in his career as well. He would probably be able to heal by himself and move on but let’s not forget that Joowon is still in the picture. As long as he has a place in Haesoo’s heart, Taku would never be able to replace him. It’s because of Taku that Haesoo has been able to tell Joowon that he doesn’t want to have an ambiguous relationship anymore. He’s been trying by himself for years, but always went back to Joowon. Joowon knows this and has been taking advantage of it, that’s why he never did anything when Haesoo was sleeping with other guys.
Taku has found a way to make Haesoo move on and that’s why Joowon is restless, but at the same time, Taku has realized that he needs to pull Haesoo away from Joowon more by himself instead of making Haesoo do it on his own cause there’s a possibility that the cycle would repeat.
But Joowon is still not only Haesoo's lover but family and friend. It's really not Taku's place to push anyone. It's only Haesoo's decision. Haesoo's alone. He is adult man and he should decide about himself.
Him giving in so quickly would destroy the whole narrative about loving yourself and that all he needs right now is himself.
It is Taku’s place to push Joowon away because, although Haesoo wants to have a brotherly relationship with him, Joowon doesn’t think of Haesoo as family, but as a lover. If Taku isn’t careful, then Haesoo will go back to Joowon cause Haesoo isn’t completely over his feelings for him.
Yes, Haesoo does need to love himself, and only he could do that. Taku isn’t there to teach him how to love himself, but to love someone else instead of Joowon.
It's really not his place. Joowon was important figure in Haesoo's life for decade. As I said they were not only lovers but friends and family. Haesoo wants to have Joowon in some form in his life. Taku knows him how long? Weeks, months maximum.
And Taku thinking mostly about competition with Joowon instead of Haesoo's feelings...
I don’t understand. How is Taku ignoring Haesoo’s feelings? Up until now he’s only been acting according to what Haesoo feels. He’s never done something that Haesoo hasn’t agreed to. They’re in a relationship now, the dude is only trying to secure it by having Haesoo love only him as a partner. Wouldn’t anybody do the same if they were in a relationship? If Joowon was just a friend or family member then it wouldn’t matter, but he is a rival. Wether you like it or not, it is a competition but between Taku and Joowon. However, neither of them are going to force Haesoo into something he doesn’t want.
They are literally not in relationship? Haesoo didn't agree to anything yet. Taekyung lied to Joowon about that matter. He is waiting for Haesoo's answer right now
Well Taku is the only one Haesoo’s seeing and sleeping with. Taku is waiting for Haesoo to make it an official relationship. There’s no denying that Haesoo has an attraction to Taku.
He is attracted to Taku to some agree hat's right but he is still in love with Joowon.
Yeah I know
