Honestly they both have faults, Alex testing Cole by having his friend live with him if he's testing him, and Cole cheating on Alex by kissing him and receiving a bj from him. This is just a bad relationship regardless unless they both show remorse for what they've done.

Why do some many people hate chase and Joel together but continue reading just to leave hate comments at the end? Lol I just find it kind of funny. Trust me when I say this, there is much worse manga than this one. I dont really see a problem with the "to be couple," I just see a problem with how shitty of a father Joel is. Who cares more about another boy than his own son... joel just needs a break
Because its what the comments section is for. The comments section is a place where we manga readers and Yaoi fans can interact, have a discussion, bond, express feelings, exchange ideas and opinions. It's nice to have people who share the same interest, thoughts, ideas and opinion as yours. It can also be interesting to hear other manga readers and Yaoi fans thought process and/or perspectives. We don't have to always agree and we don't always have to like the manga we are reading. If there are hate comments, it just means it sparked a strong reaction. This manhwa specifically is very polarizing. The readers are very divided. We have some love-hate relationship with some of the side characters. It also tackles senstive topics the provoke such reactions. Still, its normal to find these in the comments section.

It’s ok to love the manga but hate some of the characters! That actually ads dimension to the story! Not every character can be an angel! Personally don’t like Joel, but I love the manga. We’re not bashing the author and their work.

Honestly, if we saw Jihyun's perspective, a guy who was never given a chance. Like he was charged for a crime he didnt commit, lost trust from the one he loved, and now is probably never allowed to even be his friend anymore. It doesnt excuse his actions and bad decisions, but it could've change him and his future. He may be a bad guy, but he was never given a chance to be a good guy. Just my opinion though
I mean, he was given a lot of chances from when Chiwoo kept forgiving him over and over again. I do feel bad that Jihyun never grew up in a normal family, but I still don't like how he literally raped Chiwoo. and after that he thought that he could be forgiven yet again.
