This is actually fun to read despite being repetitive, so i read ahead a bit.
I was really disappointed that the old man (the master of the two girls) is actually a woman in disguise. And it was okay in the beginning but after awhile it becomes annoying how she kept insisting he is the demon lord, and trying to do all sorts of harm to him, all the while taking advantage of his skills and items to better herself and her disciples. Shouldn’t the demon lord have demonic energy or similar?
But it’s nice that mc is decent and not another horny teenager.

was there some sort of silent agreement to fool readers into thinking this is atleast decent? The mc is already acting all arrogant and way overpowered from chapter 2? at chapter 25, he becomes a “governor” for the army, commanding 300 soldiers while attending uni?! I already prepared myself for some arrogance because this is a chinese manhua, but he’s already acting like he rules the world from day one?!

To recap the first 5 chapters:
MC is a war orphan that worked hard in the battlefield so he can retire from the battlefield and create a family, eventually meets his end, but for absolutely NO reason at all, he gets reborn into the youngest and only son of a count who is a war hero, and his wife who’s an assassin who almost killed the emperor (apparently it’s a profession a countess can broadcast to the world). he has 2 elders sisters who are unparalled geniuses in magic and summoning. And as if his swordmanship skills and knowledge from his past life is NOT enough, he’s blessed with skills in spearmanship, magic, summoning, and stealth too. All this is revealed on ONE chapter on his first birthday in front of all their constituents. He was supposed to pick one item from those representing these skills that he likes, but for NO reason at all, all the items glowed and picked him. for NO reason at all, it suddenly turned from picking what he will like to do in the future to being blessed/chosen by those skills.

I really like the natural dynamics between lucy and ed. I don’t mind her falling for ed, but please please don’t keep acting fidgety and in heat

True, cause it was after spending a whole year together, getting to know each other, chilling and helping each other better themselves, that's a natural and sweet relation, Yenika too, he was there for her basically saving her and she saved him too, but that's dangerous, cause there's a certain pedestal put, while Lucy's love truly can about naturally.
Is it just me or when the characters get angry, shocked, or intimidating, they look like how the villains are drawn in other manhwas
