This isn't really a spoiler but they spend every night together for at least a month and they actually speak a lot (most of their interactions are that way actually, at least during the first half of the novel).

It’s not about whether I can draw better art. When comparing the story and art to other yaoi manga, this one is lacking. The story is not very good and the art, though not terrible or ugly, doesn’t add anything.
If you go to a restaurant that’s just ok and then go to another restaurant that’s 5 stars then comparatively the review and rating will be lower. Does that mean that you can cook the food like the just ok restaurant? No, but you sure as hell can taste the food.
