Back then, I dropped in the middle to let it marinate. Years passed and on another site, I came across this work but with a different title. As I read ch 1, it reminded me of this story and wouldn’t you know it, it was the same work! And completed! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ I didn’t recognize it because it was under a different title; the art (big factor lmao) and the plot made me remember it lol

Happy tears when you let something marinate and the flavor really did deliver, meaning it’s completed. It’s bittersweet for sure but I’m happy with the closure (⌒▽⌒)

The Frontera territory is already powerful on its own that I didn’t even consider the help of the others to balance the playing field. Come to think of it, I don’t remember them in that terrible ending spoiler… I felt dumb lmao

And what did the mermaids mean they jumped? So they’re flying fish ei xD the only one missing now is the dragons. I assume they couldn’t assist in person due to some laws but I wonder if they’ll make an appearance too

I’ve encountered works that were mistakenly tagged; usually it was the action manhwas tagged as shoujo.

The harem tag has always been one of my indicators if I want to read the work or not but, it did make me wonder if there were works that were mistakenly tagged as harem, especially on action/adventure works.

Like go on, but what are you doing under a josei genre?

If I'm not too wrong, josei only means it's for adult women. It doesn't relate to the work being hetero or homo based.
It's like an additional tag, like shoujo or shounen, sometimes more akin to subgenres for some works, like comedy (which i don't find a correct fit).

In general it just indicates that it's for very mature audiences, ideally for 35+ women.

Just came to mind right now. I forgot the title, not even sure if genre is bl but the setting was like edo Japan? At least the characters I can remember were 1 guy who works as a cop, 2 beauties ( black haired, blonde) that are brothers tho not blood-related; they are somehow part of a gang or at least connected with the underworld of that society.

The storyline consists of crime stories of why such crimes or events happened and gradually integrates with the storyline of the characters I mentioned. If I’m not mistaken, I think those two brothers are assassins.

One story I could remember from this series is (SPOILER ALERT) that a famous flower arranger willingly chose to be hurt (in this case, lose the ability to walk) because her husband gets off on being depended on. They stayed together, albeit it’s rather uncomfortable personally.

At the time when flower arranger was gradually getting her fame and recognition, husband was seen with a young girl who’s pregnant I think or had a child, I forgot. I think it was because of this that our main characters, the cop (assisted by the black haired beauty at this time) was called to investigate potential cheating. Nah, it’s not cheating per se because husband sees struggling girl in dire straits so he “helped” (giving money, words of comfort, etc) her but did nothing else that connotes anything sexual.

It’s similar to one purposely getting someone sick so they could take care of them. In this case, husband just wants to be depended on, in a rather twisted sense. In fact, if I’m not mistaken, he married his wife because the wife heavily relied on him- she had no business, she wasn’t well-known as well as her school, she was in a tough spot. That mofo might have helped her but it wasn’t out of the goodness of his heart in my opinion.

I think title starts with A but I’m not sure. I remember pairing the cop and the black haired kimono clad beauty because the latter wanted a normal life, and he feels that with the cop or at least being with the cop.

Do you have those moments you want to forget but the irony is it's the ones that were carved into your mind? Reminds me of that tragic shounen-ai/yaoi I've read. It's tragic for me in some way since they didn't become a couple (EVEN THOUGH IT WAS OBVIOUS THEY WERE MEANT TO BE). It's a slap to my face if I do say so myself =.="

If there's anything I'm passionate about besides family, friends, loved ones, and God, it would be anime/manga, Vocaloid (Luka Megurine), and Yaoi considering I'm hooked on their art and/or storyline. :3
