For someone that makes you feel like you’re making a contract with the devil, you’d be suspicious if he’s suddenly so magnanimous. It goes against what you think of his character setting.
Lloyd played the long game and he’s a cunning genius xD Also, that expression, those tears go beyond crocodile tears hahaha. Even if you feel his suspicious and something’s off, his reasoning is, well, reasonable and legit hahahaha At least a swordsmaster won’t die from stress (≧∀≦)
Idk if the the mates thing was planned, or they backtracked from the shota route. Either way, I’m actually glad.
Nils got to experience his first love and first heartbreak but at least his loved ones are there for him to guide him. Acceptance and support for the reunited mates would be really mature for his age if it does happen and it’s not a bad expectation.
It was honestly a bit random but I’m glad that they didn’t change to accommodate Nil’s childhood crush. Age appropriate romance lah
The origins of the rock-paper-scissors-drop was not only to eliminate the headaches of battling for the head position but also to unite them.
If only it was that convenient irl ╮( ̄▽ ̄) Then again, if it were real, most, if not all, would neither respect nor acknowledge the outcome unless it’s to their benefit. Demon kin is better in that regard.
I think I got side character syndrome for a bit but, does Seth have his own story? His assertiveness is really refreshing and his presence is welcomed in the bl chaos lmao. Even his character design is attractive… how come no one fell for him? The heck? Blind eyes lah tsk tsk
Seth is straight iirc, and the author only writes BL.
If that doesn't change we won't see his story. Henry x Isaac will get one, but who knows when.
And be careful what you wish for, the hottest guy (I remember there where so many drooling over him in the comments, I really hope the artist doesn't mess him up when he appears here), in KML had alway been planned for Grayson.XD Who knows who Seth would get, if he isn't straight anymore.^^
Yea I think there was a line in the novel where he wants to be introduced to Josh's ex girlfriends? Something like that. If it were me I would like Seth to end up with Josh's sister as she's very unfortunate with men sadly lol. Seth is a good catch for her. And yea Grayson x Dane (Josh's firefighter friend) is in Desire me if you can. Actually my next read m, just marinating for the meantime hehe
Yes, but Josh's sister is sadly into the Yeonwoo type. She doesn't like men with muscles. In the side stories of KML at the babyshower, she and Dane (both not interested in the other) were sticking together to rile up Josh, it worked.^^
When Yeonwoo asked what's up with her and Dane, she told him she would never date anyone who has bigger breasts than her... .lol
Although, if you are planning to read Desire me if you can, prepare yourself mentally...Grayson is the Miller with the breast fetish ( Dane's).XD (Ashley is into Koi's legs, Chase into Josh's ass, and Nathaniel seems to be into Chrissy's ankles (feets?) lol).
I already read Desire me if you can, I read it live earlier this year. Waiting for a new chapter every day was stressful, so marinating is not the worst idea. Now I'm waiting for Extra 2. If we're lucky will get it after "Run away if you can" is done. If not we'll have to wait longer.-_-
Kiss me if you can should also get a new extra this or next year.
I do remember Seth said he was straight yet, he could still be the object of unrequited love, or just something of an attraction. Basically, Seth is fine as he is. I was just wondering why no one was crushing on him or something ( ̄∇ ̄")
Also, thank you for the info!
ヾ(☆▽☆) It’s an informative thread for me on which works to read in the same universe of this work and what to expect/prepare myself when I do get to reading the works you guys mentioned. Thank you! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
I like it a lot! The MC didn’t stray from his initial objective, however, he wasn’t constricted by it either. He also did the the other side of revenge -to live his life happily.
What I’m more amazed about is the relationships; Go Changbeom surprised me the most. I really thought he’d be a bastard through and through xD He matured lmao and he’s so loyal! And I think he’s a filial son in the sense that he kept his father’s teachings close to his heart. And there’s minwoo’s parents! They’re such a cute couple; I adore the relationship hahaha. Imagine my surprise Minwoo was aiming for med school hahaha
I also liked how it touched upon the reality of SK to a certain degree; I knew about how extreme the bullying could get but the specifics can be brutal for me to comprehend just because they’re kids, as victim and assailant. there is truth to how the actions of both the students and adults acted, too.
There’s also the part about Minwoo’s mother, who’s quality of life improved like being liked by the husband’s family. This scene was a small part but it did make me recall that wives have a tough time especially when they’re married into an influential family, and they’re blamed for whatever misconduct their child did because she didn’t raise him right. I was flabbergasted when I learned about it. So it makes sense that they’d give it all for their child. And minwoo’s father! People with integrity like him usually don’t last long because they’re removed either from their position or life. Look at the homeroom teacher; we never heard from him again but it was implied he’ll be alright.
Overall, it was personally a satisfying read.
Also, when they said corpse, I was actually expecting a jiangshi, like the female character in the game similar to streetfighter (the one with a succubus and a vampire I think but the name escapes me).
I didn’t expect a whole ass spine? Centipede? Across the chest like that. It’s more in line with frankenstein plus magic, worms, and insects.
He may be yandere but damn, I like how there was weight and substance to the main characters.
Funnily enough, I didn’t sense betrayal, which is usually expected in such a scenario. Disgust, anger, sure, but not betrayal. The guilt and the realization of both parties that the master will eventually become something that is not him is actually fascinating to see that they’re in the same wavelength.
I’m not sure if the feeling was mutual, however, there was acknowledgment, care, and willingness to accompany the other. What tugged at me more is that last panel: the master is still as is but the disciple has become older. Remembering that the master’s decaying parts has to be constantly changed, the disciple’s dedication just tugs at me.
Kind of reminds me of that danmei (Transmigrating into a mob character to rehabilitate the villain, I think is the title) wherein one party meticulously tends to the other’s corpse with the hope that they’ll come back. Heck, they’d do it even if it’s a corpse.
The art is gorgeous. Is there more to this story? It’s actually good to end it there in my opinion but who knows if there are more chapters or side stories

Never expected the side stories would be something like this. I’m pleasantly surprised.
The premise and the pacing of just this chapter alone was well done in my opinion. The viscount’s gradual realization didn’t feel rushed to me at all, and he’s actually a lucky man to have such people in his fiefdom. I expected pitchforks, torches, and mutual destruction on both sides, however, his people only acted like him to make him realize how he treated them
AND gave him a chance to change for the better. I’m surprised no one spat on him despite what he did. Decent people. I fully support his desire to change; if only the son was not a dumbass. It’s a tough battle ahead (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
