It’s been a very long time since I cried while reading a BL manhwa. This really broke my heart and simultaneously repaired it in a way I can’t explain. I feel like this entire story was a love letter or poem. Every panel reeked of yearning, sorrow, grief, loss, but also hope. This was genuinely a masterpiece and I feel like I’ll be thinking about this story a lot from now on. Really makes you think about life and how we should all live with no regrets.

I feel like this story just went to shit after the whole timeskip arc. The author’s decision to make Eunhyeok just yeet himself out of everyone’s life was so dumb. Instead of properly writing out how they could’ve worked through the circumstances, the author just pulled a “eh well teens don’t really have the power to fix their problems so let’s just make them adults quickly” and then proceeded to create drama for the sake of drama. Literally ANYTHING would’ve been better than the direction the author went with their story.
And it’s such a shame because this manhwa was reaaaally good and I loved all the characters. Now? They all frustrate the fuck out of me and literally everyone should just remain single and get their own lives at this point—which is totally NOT the ending I signed up for after reading the first half of the story. But honestly, end game being no one is the only thing that makes sense at this point.

Can I just say props to the author for portraying what it feels like for someone to spiral after finding out their lover cheated and had an affair? I’m not talking about Yuju wanting revenge or acting crazy, but the way the author just wrote her speech and thoughts. How it started with pain, anger, and then suddenly self-rationalizing the situation and trying to fix it? Then for everything to be fine again, only for everything to collapse eventually. Then how she started hating herself and doing terrible things to her own body because she couldn’t like herself anymore. That entire process was so realistic I got chills reading it.

Bruh just start with an apology first. Forget the new deal or helping him fix his sleepwalking issue. APOLOGIZE FIRST PLS. You know you fucked up, so at least address the shit you did and tell him you’re sorry. Everything else can come later.
That aside, I’m glad JK seems willing to entertain the thought of letting Dan go after their debts are repaid. They probably need a break from each other. BUT YES APOLOGIZE FIRST THEN GO.

I agree generally but… even if he did apologize, covering everything he did… if I were Dan that would be even more reason not to go. First, it won’t change the past and the trauma. Second, it’ll reaffirm that JJK was hideously awful and bring up all those painful memories so they’re out in the open, which could make Dan drink to forget again. Third, it would frame the return with JJK as a plea for Dan to return to his former position. Despite what JJK says—it would then be obvious that JJK doesn’t want to let Dan go and would pose an opportunity for JJK to change his mind or find a new way to shackle Dan.
Saying sorry at this point would do more harm than good for Dan. Plus I don’t think it could get past JJK’s lips. It’s too much for a simple sorry. I do wish the way he addresses Dan would be gentler but… it’s JJK. I think that will come with time. Anyway, Jaekyung has to prove himself. After changing his ways significantly and then letting Dan choose his path freely, he can apologize and have it land properly.

People reacting to the new chapter poorly, as if that was not where the author intended to go all along since chapter one. Like dude, did you guys not see Enzo’s facial expressions? Bro is PSYCHO. Like actual crazy in the head. They’re also literally enemies trying to screw each other over. Obviously shit was gonna end badly.
Also, no one’s insulting people for feeling uncomfortable with the rape because I’m 1000% certain it was drawn purposely to show how terrible it was. So there’s no glorifying rape bullshit here. It’s meant to be an uncomfortable read and the author clearly knows what they’re doing. In that sense, this puts this story already far high above the other rapey manhwa that just make it a romance plot.
So yeah, feeling disappointed is all good, but just know that y’all had the damn signs waving in front of your faces since day one. It’s not the author’s fault you failed to see where the dynamic was going.

No doubt about it !
Enzo's face going dark each time he was trying to repress his urges 'n' impulses would never not be funny to me xDD
I saw this coming but I still felt bad and uncomfortable about the v*miting and violent spanking (×﹏×) So I guess it's even more shocking and painful to read for the ones who were not expecting it....
But really, none of them was considering romantically the other one from the very beginning and untill now— Uno obsessing about nothing more than bedding Enzo and Enzo being interested in Uno in a twisted special plaything fantasy kind of way, so despite the playfulness they both showcased and the "Catch-me-or-I'll-catch-you" game they were playing, the type of relationship they have was screaming Toxic ! They got sooo much tension going on and chemistry was boiling up but it was all s*xual, no romance displayed ~
So when people complain about the fact that they can be labelled walking red flags without it leading to ass*ult and expect them to care for each other somehow. . ...it just doesn't add up— why would they be mindful of each other when none of them has to ! They didn't reach the point where they're falling in love with each other to not want to harm the other yet, they are enemies trying to overpower each other, be it in business or in bed !
It was already written black on white that one of them was gonna get caught in the web they were both spinning, and that it was not going to be pleasant at all....
Then again, back to the first statement about Enzo's expressions, but he gazed at Uno bestially like he was a prey and not a potential lover more than once (beside all the other psycho things he has done) for us not to realiaze that, at any given opportunity, he was soooo gonna just disregard his feelings and feast on him !!

Every time I come back to read the comments here, I realize all over again how fandom and tastes have changed over time. Like there are a shit ton of stories with problematic characters that are super famous and loved, yet somehow always hated on when it comes to the new gen readers. I don’t wanna call it the woke wave but it kinda is. People are so less tolerant towards shitty characters nowadays and feel the need to be vocal about it when really, it’s not a matter of morality but taste. If this story was published like ten years ago, I swear it definitely wouldn’t be getting as many hate comments as now because it would be considered a normal entertaining trope for some and those who didn’t like it would just move on and find something else instead of debating about it all over the place lol

Nothing. Again, I’m just talking about the change in comment trends from being actual story reviews to just social media forum style rant. But it does sound ridiculous and annoying considering some keep returning again and again to leave the same comments about how this character or that character is bad and whatever when clearly, they ARE enjoying the story because they haven’t dropped it yet lol

HEREE WE GO AGAIN. Woke this woke that, ITS RAPE! A STORY THAT GLAMORIZES RAPISTSSSSSS!!! GET THAT IN YOUR FUCKING SKULLLLL!! Fucking braindead idiots. Whether you like it or not, it’s insane to complain about people calling out a story for what it is. Call it what you want, but my morals encompasses even the fictional world, that’s how it should be, if not, then there’s clearly something wrong with your morality. Stupid fuck.

Ah yes, here we go again with the self-proclaimed morality police screaming at pixels on a page. Btch, don't tell me what to read and how. You’re acting like fiction is out here committing crimes in real life. Newsflash: it’s fiction. Nobody’s ‘glamorizing’ anything, unless you seriously can’t tell the difference between storytelling and real life. That’s a you problem, not a ‘society collapsing’ problem.
You don’t get to force your personal morality on everyone else just because a story makes you uncomfortable. If your brain short-circuits over characters and plots, maybe just don’t read it? The rest of us can handle separating reality from fiction without spiraling into performative outrage. Touch grass, breathe, and remember : it’s literally not that deep

A story’s purpose is to tell a story. Doesn’t matter what content it has. It’s not a book’s responsibility to teach you morals. That’s your parent’s job. Good for you for saying rape is bad which, btw, is sth literally everyone who enjoys this manhwa knows. They’re not reading the story because they enjoy rape or think it’s good. They’re reading it because it’s a story with a plot and entertaining characters. It’s not that deep. And I swear to god everyone who enjoys this story does not glorify rape in real life lmfao
If you can’t separate between fiction and reality, and insult actual real people for being able to do so, that’s all on you my friend. Your morality is the one that’s messed up if you’re going as far as calling people names for reading a fictional made up story that hurts no one.

“Can’t tell the difference between storytelling and real life” look who’s talking. The same bitch who thinks some pixels on a screen prevents them from having the same morals they perpetuate in real life. Oh i’m sorry, that I don’t like supporting rapist characters and stories that justify their characters. I’m sorry i’m such a woke baby in this generation that cares about fuckass rapists stories that people seem to glamorize. I’m sorry, I don’t condone bitchass fuckers like you who think they have some sort higher ground when talking about fictional stories and how were supposed to interpret it just bc they’re old as fuck. Fuckers like you would sit down and read child porn just to get off and say “its just fictional” like the dumb bitch you are.

So, when I go in this site, and read child porn, a story that clearly is about pedophelia but is romanticize to the point that people don’t care anymore and keep reading it like a “normal” story, that does make my morality fucked up? Cause rn, my dude, you’re the one who sounds like someone who needs an awful lot of thinking. Because while you’re replying to me about my hurtful wittle words, there’s a bunch of people who reads this shit and thinks “oh that’s not rape cause he’s gonna have a character developement

It seems like all we wrote above goes over your head lmaoooo I suggest you calmly reread my comment and take time to think, proving how dumbfk you are ^^
You equating reading a dark story to committing crimes is like saying playing GTA makes you a serial k. See how ridiculous that sounds? If a piece of fiction rattles you this much, close the tab and move on instead of barking.
Ppl can discuss and enjoy stories without your crusade of performative morality. It’s fiction, not a criminal confession. Chill.
How old are you? If your underage, gtfo here, I'm not wasting my time with you, but if you're an adult... Cringing yourself.

Ah, there it is XDDD the nuclear ‘child porn’ comparison. It's called "Shouta" btw. You’re proving my point, you can’t separate fictional genres from reality, so you go full moral crusader mode. It exists whether you like it or not. If you really cared, you’d go after the authors or publishers instead of cosplaying as a hero online. Screaming on forums isn’t activism, it’s just noise. Either act IRL for your causes or admit you’re just here for the drama
Fiction exists, dark genres exist, and you don’t get to burn the entire library because one shelf makes you uncomfortable.

Mate, there is absolutely not a bunch of people who think it’s not rape because he gets character development. You’re just pushing your ideals and delusions onto others at this point. The people you claim to hate don’t even exist. No one is glorifying rape, no one enjoys pedo content because they are pedos, and no one reads dark genre thinking that’s the kind of relationship they want in real life. It’s literally all in your head. So I don’t know how to break it to you, but the people you abhor don’t actually exist. Just say you don’t like the story because it’s uncomfortable for you. It’s that simple.

I 100% concur.
They are beginning to infiltrate other old series that was once beloved and it confuses older readers. It is the "woke" propaganda that feeds them nonsense and since the internet (in America) has little to 0 regulation and the mods aren't really watching, it's a free for all.
The 2nd half of Gen Z and the new generation shouldn't be reading this material in the first place, but they are. You can usually tell based on their comments and behavior. It gives "attention seeking" vibes.
Honestly, we the avid reader who genuinely like and analyze what we read, or simply turn our mind off and just read for fun, do not have entertain them everytime because it's what they want. And if you do, hit them with logic they can't comprehend.

Not everything is considered "voicing your opinion". This are terms like "disrupting the peace", "insightment of violence", and even "false narrative". They are not considered opinions.
Disagreeing with a person or 2 is considered an "opinion", disagreeing a 50-60% of a fandom (which can be in the millions) and saying out-of-pocket nonsense is "disturbing the peace".
Just because "you're free you say what you want", doesn't mean you should. There are ways to covey and articulate your thoughts and share it with the community without being a nuisance.
But I'm just voicing my opinion.

I don't believe you are serious here based on the way you're replying. You're overselling it to fit a narrative and it shows.
Weather you truly believe the words you shared or not, it's obvious that you aren't really serious about what you're saying.
I've seen enough of the same regurgitated talking points to get the sense when someone is serious or not.
But that's just my intuition.

Ok mister psychic. But I am, i’ve been serious. That’s why kids these days got some fucked up views cause they can’t differentiate between reality and what the fuck they can and cannot read. You’re one of those fucked up hags who think that just bc a lot of people were enabled before to read actual criminal shit turned into love story, you think you have some sort of higher knowledge. Gtfu, you guys disgust me.

Absolute mind boggling shit. Holy fucking shit how blind you are. You sound exaclty how a pedophile would talk when being questioned lmfaooosjsjskw. Anyways, you’re wondering how I know? Bitch go at the top ten, go anywahere at the home site on this shit, click one story and see the reviews, its all there. Ik this shit cause eveytime I try to find a good story to read, I end up in literal child porn where the reviews says it all, its disgusting. If that doesn’t disgust you, then smths wrong with u. Plain and simple.

@Shiki Are you not? A porn addicted kid? Cause you sound and act exactly like one. The only people who defend rapist characters like jaekyung would be a porn addicted kid, or just a porn addict.
“Something’s off” lmfaoo fucking dumb bitch, trying to sound like you found something out. Focus on school.
Lemme just say, I absolutely hate the obsessive yandere trope and rarely ever end up finishing any story that has one, especially if it’s a romance story because I believe some people are simply irredeemable. But I have to say, this story is EXACTLY how an author should handle a yandere character. How should I say it…it’s toxic, yes, but they make it clear it is without overly romanticizing it. And what’s most important, the yandere character actually does get proper development WITHOUT losing all of their obsessiveness. It’s the way the author clearly sets down all boundaries and makes it so both parties truly understand each other that makes this toxic relationship become NOT toxic.
Is the ML still a black flag? Oh absolutely. Were the things he did horrible? Definitely. But despite how twisted his love was, there was purity and sincerity hidden in there. And I think that’s why I felt completely okay with the MC ending with the ML in the end, also because the MC truly does understand the ML and holds him accountable for the bullshit he did. Honestly, this is what a dark romance story should be like. 10/10.
yall dont get what dark romance is... it will always be toxic. Thats the pull of it. Trying to "fix" the yandere is the lamest shit ever and I hate when authors do that. They should be trash from beginning to end. Go read some fluff story then if you hate yanderes
I like this manhwa but its not dark romance at all its like a comedy with angst sprinkled in
Genuinely don’t understand why ur mad. I said I personally don’t like yandere characters, not that I hate dark romances and I never said that dark romances should all be fixed. It’s simply MY personal preference that I prefer my dark romances to have a more happier ending. And sorry but this story is still absolutely considered a dark romance to me.
The novel it stems from aka Silence is textbook horror tragic dark romance and their relationship is toxic as fuck it’s practically irredeemable. Even if the author spun it in a positive way in the ‘new timeline’, the relationship is still something literally nobody sane would want to have. It only worked in a fictional context—in real life, nothing about this manhwa is romantic lmfao. So yeah, I’m just saying I enjoyed this manhwa’s spin on dark romance and felt it was a nice change of pace to, say, Killing Stalking stuff that I also very much enjoyed reading
