People really love to argue who is better than who and then there’s me who thinks all three of them are heavily flawed and honestly, they tried their best. If we’re talking about red flags, all of them are, period lol. Point is, they all grew and moved on. Was a truly mediocre story because the plot was a convoluted mess and Cain’s dog past went nowhere, though I get what the author was trying to say. Still, they all need therapy and I guess the time skip was meant to be that. I feel like the story could’ve been compressed way better. The author dragged shit out for so long and things kept going around in circles no one knew wtf was going on. At least it finally ended so we can all breathe and say “THANK FUCK THE SHITSHOW IS FINALLY OVER” together

I don’t know about others but as someone who suffers from severe anxiety and panic disorder, this story is fantastic in the way it shows how utterly cyclical and repetitive the symptoms are. It never disappears, it always comes back, even if things get better, it’s only a peak before things nosedive again. It’s painful, but that’s also how it really is in the real world. Insecurities don’t miraculously disappear because of love or care. They stay with you sometimes until you die, even when you’re already in a happy situation.
I get how some people might be annoyed because sometimes, I also get frustrated when pairings in manhwa keep on acting weird because of misunderstandings or miscommunication. But for this story, I feel like it’s incredibly realistic and nothing could make me stop hoping for their happy ending because they deserve it so much.

Derrick is the only person in this story who has absolutely ZERO development. He started out shitty, continues to be a nasty person, and only ever makes excuses for himself by hiding behind his ‘duty’ as the heir of the family. Every time he acts like he cares for Penelope, it’s because of 1) his disgusting feelings and 2) because of his ego as family heir. So yes, he absolutely deserves all the hate. He has NEVER once been a sincerely good person to her. Giving a present is nothing. It doesn’t change anything. He still treats her like he owns her and can do whatever he wants with her.

It is so painfully obvious the author is just pulling shit out of their ass to make up female characters to pair Robert and Souvre with, just for the sake of a “happy ending” where everyone gets married or something. And I was truly enjoying this story until this new arc. It’s so FORCED.
People are not complaining about this arc because it breaks their fujoshi dreams or fantasies. They’re ranting because it makes ZERO sense. The writing is poor and the ‘romance’ development is ridiculously cliche. It would’ve worked if this was chapter 10 or something, but both Robert and Souvre have gone through miles more character development already. In no world would they fall for this. Both Robert and Souvre deserve a proper romance arc like what the author did for the other side couples, not something enforced out of nowhere like this.
To people who say the fujoshi should get outta here or something, maybe consider first why people are saying Robert and Souvre should end up together. It’s not a ‘horny’ fantasy—it’s literally because the author failed to properly create a potential avenue of romance for those two characters, aside from each other. If Robert and Souvre end up with those girls, then the author needs to JUSTIFY it with proper development that EXCEEDS whatever solid friendship those two guys have with each other.
Downvote me to hell for all I care. Those two guys deserve to have their own happiness that is TRULY written for them with a lot more care and effort than this.

Yaaaa! Someone who thinks like me!! I also agree that these two deserve there own stories and will be a little cranky if they end up with the girls. I'll admit I want Robert for myself!
I do think that this was thought out more than what we're seeing.
I believe that the red head was promised the title ( well her husband was) if she married into the countery - I think she's that princess and she doesn't want a political marriage so the queen is helping so other counterys don't gaine more power.
The dark-haired gal, her handmaid.
I think this was totally political and the boys are loyal that's why they got dragged into this crap.

I'm not saying I don't agree with u, but to say that the author is pulling shit out of their ass for these two characters is objectively wrong. The seeds for their story (particularly the red head) was started ages ago during the flashbacks to the first timeline. Though I do agree that the story feels a bit like it's dragging on without a clear end in sight, all of the plot lines the author is trying to start/wrap up for some of the side characters have been in play since the beginning.

I just stumbled upon this and didn’t expect much but omg. Why is this not rated higher or more famous? It’s so good??? The writing is so minimalistic and the plot is fairly simple but it’s executed so well. The mood is always just perfect and I love the atmospheric vibe of the story. It’s so healing and the seme is also a green flag. Literally this manhwa is just hitting all the right spots damn.

Literally the whole manga just proves that Yuichi’s friends were all full of shit. Every single one of them were selfish until the very end and ironically, the only one who came out as a genuine friend is the only relationship he forged during the damn game—it’s Kei. Even a person who was just recently acquainted with Yuichi understood him better than all his so-called ‘friends’ who knew him for far much longer.
It doesn’t matter whether Yuichi is evil or not. Fact is, everyone failed him and he, the devil himself, was the only one who went to crazy lengths just to protect his friends.

Literally everyone who’s telling the FL to step up and stop the bullying since day one has never actually confronted one themselves. She is absolutely not a bystander—she’s simply not stupid enough to jump in with zero plans because when it comes to bullies, just telling them to stop will NEVER do anything. Even in the modern world, do you expect standing up by yourself alone with no power to actually do something? It won’t, you’ll just be throwing yourself into danger. And don’t say stuff like “oh it’s still not good to watch” because all you’re doing by stepping in with zero plans is NOT helping anyone, much less the person being bullied. In fact, doing that will make the bullies target the victim even MORE.
There's a way to handle cases like this and it involves meticulous planning and getting the authorities on your side first. You have to hammer it all in with proper evidence. It’s annoying, yes, but that is how the real world works. There’s a reason why bullying is rampant—it’s because all the higher ups want to brush things under the table. To force them out, you need to be careful with how you choose to expose them or else it’ll only INCREASE the amount of bullying everyone receives.

Yes! Yes! Yes! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ It also hurts my eyes seeing a lot of comments pertaining to Camilla just idly watching. She wasn't, though? She's just being smart. She needs to do the things her brother was supposed to do, but on her own way. Camilla knows her standing in that school, that's why she's taking a little of her time to make sure it won't go sideways.

I’m a little confused why I’m feeling this way because the manhwa is a faithful adaptation to the novel but I just can’t really get into it? The novel was absolutely amazing and seriously one of the best I’ve ever read in Otome isekai genre, but the manhwa is so…..subpar? I don’t know if it’s because of the art too but the pacing for the novel doesn’t seem to work when we change the medium to a comic. It makes it dreary and boring when in the novel, everything was very thoughtful and well-written. Seems to me this manhwa suffers not because the story is bad but the way it’s being presented because I was so engaged in the novel I read all 170+ chapters in two days

It's likely the pacing. I personally enjoy a slow pacing, but I totally understand why so many find this one boring, I've definitely read stories with much better slow pacing.
There's only a few novels I've read some beginning chapters of (couldn't get further ahead due to my ADHD ass struggling to read long texts online) and then read the manhwa version, and I've definitely noticed how much they tend to cut away with the manwha. I can only assume this adaptation isn't cutting away much, which would explain the slow pacing. Certainly, things work differently depending on the medium and adaptations should be somewhat flexible while keeping true to the original version.
It def sucks bc I'm also really into the story and want more, but I know I'm unable to read the novel
YES PLS STOMP ON HIM AND DESTROY HIM DUN LET THAT KNIFE COME ANY CLOSER WTF DUDE IS INSANE???
