Honestly besides the feeling that something missing I can’t really get over how the father acts... tbh if I was in her place I would think that he only cares for his kids because he loves his wife and not because he loves his kids... I don’t know maybe he isn’t that way but either way it kinda feels like that ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I kinda don't like the way the author has set up the mystery component of the vietnamese parents and why the gem was in the sandwhich. Did you say goodbye.... like I feel like more susupense could have been built up.

Honestly I thought it was weird that she asked him to sit with them when they were on a date... kinda insensitive... and I think Alphonse was more protective over her and he was probably just annoyed that he was talking to her :/ duchess needs to keep alphonses feelings in mind before she does stuff like that imo smh imagine if your bf/gf just invited someone to hang out on your date and then they only talk to them
The author made it like that for comedic purposes. Aside from the fact that the duchess is like "Teas before dicks." HAHAHAHAHAHA

Bruh I always avoid Chinese manhwa for the same reasons: the stories confusing and usually not even good, the translation is usually bad, and they all seem to be the same and have similar cliche plots (in their respective genres) it’s not that cliches are bad it’s just that there’s never that one thing that makes it different. And I’m not going to lie... this ones no exception
Forgot to say but usually the only exceptions for these are their comedies like 19 days and tamen de gushi (I think they’re Chinese?)
