Okay the entire time I’ve read this I’ve seen ppl constantly bring up love or hate and yours to claim. But I propose this: lucky paradise

I didn’t even finish it cause it was too much for me, I felt too bad for ho-in lol. But idk it seems more fitting to me than yours to claim (Cain is his dog) or love or hate (would take too many words to fully explain. I think I posted a rant comment on this manhwa a month ish ago about love or hate tho lol)

Anyways I hope this manhwa doesn’t get nearly as toxic as the other series ppl keep mentioning. (But ngl I will accept the drama. I just don’t wanna see dochan get hurt)

I felt this way last week but this chapter solidifies it. This scene is way too dubcon for me to be as mad at eunoh as other readers seem to be. Yes, the situation isn’t great and will probably hurt dochans feelings (which I hate, dochan is the best and deserves to only experience happiness). But I’m more so uncomfortable, not necessarily mad at him.

You might argue “he should have fought Joohyuk off if he didn’t want to have sex”, but I disagree for many reasons. Especially since he did fight back last chapter, and has said “stop” multiple times. And why eunoh would stop physically fighting etc makes sense in context. when eunoh initially tried to hit Joohyuk and push him away in chapter 16, Joohyuk reminded eunoh of the mark on his face eunoh gave him. So instead, eunoh felt guilty since he obviously doesn’t want to hurt Joohyuk. Especially when you consider their past together, I think it makes even more sense.

Regardless of the bad things Joohyuk has done, eunoh still care about him on some level. He might now view him as a “son of a bitch”, but that doesn’t mean his emotions towards him are purely negative. Especially since eunoh likely still holds their past as best friends as fond memories, and he also feels guilty for when he ignored joohyuk. (Also let’s not forget Joohyuk has SAed him before, and who knows how many times. And that Joohyuk has been manipulating eunoh their entire time in college)

If y'all are mad about this I get it. I also prefer dochan. But I’ll admit, I can see a Joohyuk endgame working if it’s well written. If you hate it, you can always drop or let the manhwa marinate

There’s more thoughts I have and more to write (especially related to internalized homophobia. Like come one yall that’s probably part of why he reacted that way to the porn.) , but I’m going to wait until next week. I’ve learned to not get caught up in theories etc for manhwa I read weekly since often my imagined worst case scenario, or whatever analysis I do, ends up being completely wrong.

Hopefully eunoh doesn’t confess his love to Joohyuk or something next week and completely revoke most of what I just typed lmao
