Finale ??? Are you kidding me? Hopefully the author is ending this story on their own terms and wasn’t forced to end it early. Either way I’m frustrated and disappointed. The beginning had so much potential but this ending is completely underwhelming. So many things were never fully explained, their relationships ends with a somewhat awkward dynamic. There were so many compelling parts of this story, but it completely fizzled out by the end.

I’m tired of manhwa having rushed stories that hastily tie things up at the end. I’m tired of authors introducing conflict within the last ten chapters that they don’t have enough time to resolve. I’m tired of the side stories being a way to wrap up a clumsy plot.

At the very least I hope the author is satisfied with this ending, cause I can guarantee I’m not the only reader that’s disappointed

I wanted side stories of the main couple, not this?????

Dojun is so engrossed in his own anxiety and self-doubt that he doesn’t accept he’s an important support figure to taeseok. He doesn’t think he’s worthy of taeseoks love and devotion.

Having a mental illness makes it difficult to be in a relationship, it can make it difficult to reciprocate your partners affection. When you’re in a dark place, it can hard to see outside your own struggles and notice people around you are going through similar situations. You can become so consumed with your own despair you’re blind to the struggles of the people around you. That doesn’t excuse dojun being inconsiderate of taeseoks feelings of course. Taeseok is a kind person that deserves proper communication.

I understands people’s frustration with Dojun. He definitely is not an easy person to be close to, he should be more respectful of taeseoks emotions. You don’t have to like him, but you don’t have to minimize his own struggles. There’s nothing wrong with him breaking up with taeseok and focusing on his own mental health. Sometimes it’s better to spend time apart and become healthier, rather than brining someone else into your downward spiral.

Though this story may not go that route, and I hope it doesn’t (since this is fiction and I like happpy endings). At the end of the chapter dojun is telling the mom to be honest to taeseok , and I wonder if he’s simultaneously telling himself the advice. He should be honest to taeseok, be open and tell him his doubts. I hope he delivers the box and talks to him, I hope they reconcile.

If they’re kidnapping Hansol to get revenge against sungwon, whats the point ??? They already posted that article, sungwon has been disowned from the family, knows his dad cheated. He’s essentially a powerless beta with no connections and no support system, what’s the point???? He didn’t even do anything to deserve all this

I feel like Doha is relying on yeonwoo for everything. What did he do during those months of no contact? He hasn’t studied at all on his own, he’s only doing this because of yeonwoo. It’s understandable that Doha is having difficulty adjusting to his life now that he’s no longer doing illegal things, but what I dislike is the dependency on yeonwoo. What does yeonwoo get from this relationship, sex? A whiny man child?

Yeonwoo had finally gotten used to life without him, when Doha suddenly returned. Yeonwoo might have been a bit lonely, but that wasn’t guaranteed to be permanent. He could have found a new man to date. Unlike Doha, yeonwoo has his life somewhat figured out and can function on his own.

I think Doha needs to find a direction in his life that doesn’t rely on yeonwoo. He needs to find a path he truly cares about. If that’s passing these exams then fine, but actually be dedicated. And what comes after that? No sir you are not getting a noble prize, but sure be a scientist though that field has high barrier to entry and required a lot more education than a middle school diploma.

Either way it’s unfair of Doha to act this way, and makes this relationship somewhat unsatisfying. At the beginning since he was doing dangerous illegal stuff, he was purposely avoiding yeonwoo to try and prevent a more serious relationship. But now it’s the complete opposite. He has nothing except his relationship with yeonwoo.

I can only hope that the author actually develops Dohas character. That’s the only way this relationship will be enjoyable to read again.

Eunoh being jealous over dochans relative?? this manhwa rlly does every single cliche trope lmao. At least this time it’s a male cousin(?), not a girl. But why end the season this way ???? Though tbh the past ~10 chapters have all been incredibly disappointing.
Thankfully we’ll all be free from this manhwa for a few months before season two starts.

mary created a topic of Stigma (Doo Down)

Why is the sister telling him this??? Would be sooo much better if the ML directly told the MC his backstory
And I feel like no matter what, I won’t like the ML. Like yes he had a bad childhood, that doesn’t change the fact he’s disrespected the MC and treated him like shit.

mary created a topic of Tender Night

No they have to leave MC alone, he’s been through so much and works SO HARD for that shitty family. His mom and grandpa should protect him for once and crush these drug abuse rumors ASAP

Just realized I have to accept this story doesn’t have a plot, the storyline was haphazardly pieced together so the author has an excuse to draw porn.
And idk good for them i guess

I hope this is setting up dochan endgame.

In this chapter, we see Joohyuk giving up on being eunohs savior. Instead he is willing to sacrifice himself, and give dochan the opportunity to rescue dochan. We also saw in a previous chapter, when dochan and Joohyuk were talking, that Joohyuk is aware eunoh has feelings for dochan. (I mean eunoh not reciprocating his feelings is why Joohyuk roses him. Joohyuk knows that eunoh doesn’t feel the same way).
It might be cliche to have MC end up with the guy who saves him, but this whole story has been mediocre, predictable plot lines.

When he was still chained up, eunoh thought about dochan, not Joohyuk

I hope the next chapters we see Joohyuk acknowledge what he did. After all, eunoh is marked from when Joohyuk assaulted him. If dochan notices that, he will likely check in on eunoh and ask him about the marks. That is the PERFECT opportunity for Joohyuk to take accountability for his actions (and for dochan to punch him).

This is a good spot to end the story. Unless the author drags things out, this is a natural place to have a dochan endgame.

(Side stories though… please please, I want to see more dochan. We can even get a side story that’s of eunoh and Joohyuk when they were in high school still best friends. Seeing them more friendly would be nice, and would serve as a nice contrast to their current more antagonistic relationship)

In truth, I probably just want this story to finally end so I can be freed. Even though these last ten or so chapters have been awful, I have been unable to release the clutches this manhwa has on my soul.
