i can admit this is a manhwa with a lot of flaws but i love them like guilty pleasure or whatever but idk why i liked this even when i cringed plenty of times lmao. hope the author gets better in future works
this was good food. the love/hate emotions evan felt towards viktor was clever. he protected his brother at first, but grew resentful when he realized he had to be the only one suffering the life he was fated to.
really a good manhwa, yes, the smut was wonky, but this had such good characters, and the narrative allowed us to understand why characters behaved the way they did. i wish it was a bit longer, but i think it was solid how it ended. wished to see more of viktor's perspective towards the end.

alright... i loved this story so much. i love the protag and the love interest a lot, since i thought cesar was going to be this cold, boring mafia leader, which he was not. he had his charisma and acted childish at times, lmao. how someone so scary can look so cute? only cesar knows lmao.
but i do have a problem with this... like, why does the MC doesn't say anything about what happened? there's even a chapter of him struggling, still, about it. i would have LOVED, LOVED, if he communicated that to ceasar, and ceasar at least acknowledged what he had done was not sane. but nope, the issue is not brought up at all so that left a bittersweet taste in my mouth... but oh well, that's too much too ask, i guess. nevertheless, it was a good story with nice characters everywhere. i loved MC's dad-- ithought that he too was going to be some sly fox but surprisingly no!

100% but also both are being hella desperate for each other. I think instinctively it's cuz of OPs pregnancy. He's nesting and sensitive to MLs scent. And ML gets annoyed and tired when not around MC. I think it's an omegaverse pheromones thing. Not to say they don't love each other but I think there's more than just that rn

honestly, i love angst, tragedy and protagonist who suffer in every panel. i liked this manga, but i can't deny there's a lot of shock scenes just to shock, if i make sense?? the classmate arc, for me, didn't contribute anything to the table. the pedo arc could have been something else, but i guess it was to create more trauma, since everyone in the family knew what he was doing. honestly, i liked how the manga ended with them not having sex and showed the panel of them being kids-- that was cute.
so yea. a bit of a letdown for forcing this to be dark, tbh, but if you are looking for tragedy, pure trauma and bad people getting away with shit i guess this is the manga.
also, just knowing you are fated to be someone and that someone is forced to suffer is just too sad, which i think the ending was rushed. i mean-- how did their mark disappear?
