i don't know if it's just me but i used to love this manhwa out of all isekai manhwa.. the story just seems to be dragging. i guess ill just read this again once daddy wakes up.

she froze - though it irked me, people do react differently and I know a number of people who react the same way when faced by something similar; arrows suddenly struck the people she was with, she was momentarily shocked that a lot of people died by her decision to change the story, to save her father in this timeline
she knew all this time that her father will die, why didn't she prepare ahead of time? another thing that irked me but as i reread the chapter, yes, she knew all along that her father will die but instead of having preparation to prevent it, she prepared herself instead to accept it. she WAS determined to follow the original story. but then her conversation with Jade prior to her getting sick, not wanting to be an emperor, thus not following the flow of the story, made her think if there's really a need to follow it exactly, irony on this since she's not really following it but just making the sure that the main points of the story happens. sudden realization made her rush to save her father then froze when her decision made more people dead
as for Jade, who already knew this will happen, im giving you a benefit of a doubt, i'll wait for more chapters to have his action explained
dont mind me, i like the story so far so im trying to internally justify the author's will of having the MC react as such :D
