she is such a good-hearted, sweet and kind child. i really adore this kid, and even i'm getting swept up, because i want to protect this child from all harm, and defend her.
ludia may not have been the best mother, but she sure isn't the worst. (fyord's mother takes that role.) i just feel so much for the previous timelines lyrica, since she had to go through so, so much, and yet... out of her pure heart, she still wished for her mother to be happy. i just hope and pray that she fully heals and fixes her ways, so that she and lyrica wouldn't suffer anymore. and i'm just glad that she knows she's wrong and is trying to make things right (although, of course, what she did in her past life will stay etched in her memories.) – there's plenty of parents out there or even other relatives like grandparents or aunts or uncles that would do horrible, atrocious things to their kids, but still won't work on themselves or apologize for what they have done, whether or not they're aware that what they're doing is inhumane. (i speak from personal experience...)

i was oddly touched and nostalgic when it came to an end... i loved the development of their relationship, and how their dynamic blossomed. i also really loved that their backstories were touched upon, especially sheng's... it's so beautifully written and i related to it so much... i wish i went on my way, like sheng did, even if my family was against it and even if it's hard, and i wish i had someone like zhan, who supported sheng no matter what...
ah, fuck, now i'm really full on crying...

but my interest in it is still piqued so i wanted to ask – is the plot worth all these chapters? are the characters nicely um.... characterized (like they have substance)?

So so worth it! It’s not your typical isekai story and has such a good plot but translation has gotten really poor so if you want better translation I suggest waiting a bit more and reading on the webtoon app

and it's quite interesting how the three princes' cause of death is just one person (theoretically) with different names, with vanne and esseland it's [rael] while for pel... it's essie's name... is it because that's how they view her? i just feel kinda sad... since they're all brothers but two of them seem a little crazy, so much so that pel and essie somehow are always in danger because of what they're scheming...
but reading this made it slightly even more skewed. i mean, yes, adrian is the devil, and yes, technically, his 'treatment' is... bad... but then... how can i despise someone who, not only looks like that, but says such cute things? how can i despise someone who genuinely has deep feelings like that, whether for his mother,or for plants?
