True. But for once it's mental problems we can read/research about (which is what I meant with 'actual problems'). Usually the problems are just 'being batshit crazy' or 'somehow fucked up in the head'. So I can appreciate this plotline more since it's about problems that aren't so far from reality.
And it's not all that unhealthy either considering we saw at the end that the characters just may end up developing feelings for one another. If not, it's still a somewhat minorly healthy co-dependence relationship. Not really the best or satisfying kind tho... And it may just turn to crap and they go their own ways, which may just be for the better. But that's up to the reader since we got an open ending that can go either way.
I guess the genre tag is just way too infested with the crazy, nonsensical and way too unhealthy or just disgusting plotlines nowadays. Makes me wish we had a seperate 'psycho' tag to throw those messed up stories into. (Because those are the stories I usually come across and they made me somewhat hate the genre to be honest.)

I totally agree with the last part. Nowadays there are a lot of yaoi with sick relationships or with MCs that are not mentally healthy. And sometimes is sooo deep and fucked up that makes me feel horrible... I don't know if I explained myself (sorry for my bad english)
