I wonder who would win in a psychological game between Yuichi and Arisu from (Alice in Borderland)
while the themes completely differ, the concept remains the same. Yuichi is the type not to mind dirtying his hands if necessary while Arisu holds on to his humanity in order to beat corruption.
In tomodachi game, you put friendship, trust, and loyalty on the line whereas in Alice in Borderland, all of that goes out the window. A twisted game that fucks up with your mind until no sanity is left. In order to stay alive, you have to accept going insane.
The most admirable thing about Yuichi is that he is a mystery to all. No one can read him; while Arisu uses his pain as a weapon to continue moving forward.
In a way, they each have a certain goal to accomplish. While both want to destroy a system, Yuichi’s aim is to know if friendship has any worth when cornered by money. In contrast, Arisu’s aim is to find out his raison d’être in a life or death situation.
In brief, I’ve been ranting too much so I’ll stop but I do love me these kinds of mangas.
Kiriki doesn’t know how to use his ego in the correct way. He should attend Blue Lock and learn something from Jinpachi Ego. Lmaooo
