I mean ngl I think he’d know her too well to try and lie and say it’s hers. He probably thinks she’s too “dull” or “plain” to wear lipstick, so I doubt he’d say that. I feel like she’d either just ignore it or ask about it which ends up in him getting defensive and fussy.
