Because the author really is lazy and wont create an interesting plot for her to be an actual strong character. Compare to Daenerys from Game of thrones. She's also oppressed and became property of several men at the start. Her brother and then he sold her to her husband. And she use her charms to win people over. However, by the end of Game of thrones, Daenerys is Mother of Dragons and leader of armies attacking those who oppressed her. The story made sure that it was giving the main character enough power and talent over the story so that she can go from weak to strong. While Sanghee remains well.. this childish abomination. I heard that the story ends in chapter 165 so... So long to sanghee's character development. And by strength, I dont mean physical strength. She can be a master schemer and manipulator.
And the only thing that she can do right now? Is to whine like a child and act cute to make her brother go on a rollercoaster. I just feel super.... uh.... Unsatisfied

if its problematic, it has to be pointed out. Also wasted to much money on this so this serves as a warning to everybody. The author use equality as a scam even tho they themselves can't even think of a reason why women are useful enough to deserve more screen time. For a story about liberating women, this manhwa is an absolute sausage fest. When even the minor male characters are notable, we have only 3 women. Sanghee is useless and thinks scheming=isolating herself from the rest of the women so that they wont steal Jinsu, Freesia is powerful, but she is only created for fanservice and only wants to be a wife-servant to Jinsu. Sanghee's sister, is just there for comic relief. Meanwhile we have 20 individual men all flying around beating up shit and scheming and political battles. The manhwa quickly forget and forgives that they literally force women to kowtow, use them as plantation slaves and all that nasty stuff. Cos boys will be boys right? *pukes* And sanghee gets the useless power of becoming a human battery for men, and just like her Korean, never gets mentioned again for her to Master and use to build her own supporters to rebel the unfair regime. So yea, go ahead, read it for the shallow entertainment, but it is FAR from unproblematic.
