When he tried to give dating a chance again this time with his first sex partner not the glasses dude— he was hit with that dude doing the same thing his ex did by going on a date with a girl and just calling his a “friend” of his when mc went to confront them. So he distanced himself from the side piece but still had sex with him here and there without trying to persuade a relationship. Then the glasses ML came into the picture and while hes abit of an odd ball who’s in love with mc, hes never gave mc something to fear and he began to grow comfort being with him. Which is why he’ll most likely be endgame unless the author just doesnt give a fuk

So as far as i can tell (someone correct me if i’m wrong as well!!):
The alpha-omega world they’re in is their actual real world and cuz huimin was tortured so much after he was kidnapped and iheon bought him, huimin draws what his ideal world is during that period
When iheon was bouta die in their real world, huimin’s drawings basically come to life so now, they’re living in huimin’s ideal reality but only up to his last drawing
The book “silence” is essentially their world and a gateway back to their actual reality (if that makes sense), huimin reads and thinks he’s in the book but he’s actually back to his real world
I feel like the best way to visualize this is if you watch “opal” by jack stauber (it does have a bit of upsetting themes in there) but what opal goes through in the mv is basically what huimin goes through
