I feel like the manhwa skipped few important things
1. the alpha is was more...obsessive? or possessive? in the novel. he stalk the omega and even has keys for the omega's apartment that he sneaks in sometimes.
2. the omega's internal thought. in the novel he is WAY more wary of the alpha. in fact the smut scene around 30th chapters where filled with his thoughts, he was legit terrified in some moments of the smut. his fear of alphas and his genral fear of intimacy, sometimes he was so scared he couldn't tell the alpha that he was hurting him with the sex, but the alpha was attentive, well at least in the beginning, and dialed down. they fucked way more in the novel, the alpha knotted him MULTIPLE times, Im pretty sure the smut went on longer because the omega was just too scared to say anything. plus the omega had this whole internal dilemma where he couldn't tell if he wants the sex because he actually wants it or because of his instinct as omega. tbh the omega's thoughts where too much, not bad, but if you enjoy reading smut I feel like it will take you out of the mood, I liked it because it gives him some complexity lol.
at the end of that smut even the alpha acknowledge his wary and asks him "are terrified of me?"
tbh I like the omega's personality in the novel BUT I feel like the alpha is was more aggressive and I don't want to read the rest just for the alpha to fuck it up (turn on full obsessive or rape him) so Im dropping the novel and waiting for the manhwa
Maybe they skipped those parts because they are not including them, if Alpha is not as obsessive as in the novel then there's no reason for the inner thoughts of the omega (I feel like both things come together)
I really hope they are trying to do a different version because everything is so nice and beautiful just for them to include obsession and rape out of nowhere ╥﹏╥ I love this story so much, hope they stay with this lovey dovey vibes
right but still a lot if the omega inner monologues were about how the world views alpha and how is gently afraid of them....it was nice tbh it gave him some depth because I was really surprised when the omega was okay with sleeping with him in like the 30 character....the novel made it more realistic as in his thoughts and feeling were all over the place and he wasn't as easy going...
why is it considered disrespectful for an alpha to give an omega a collar? isn't better then being bitten by their alpha, like biting too soon or without the omega consent, or by random alpha?
Oh, maybe it's just the ones I've read then. Usually in the ones I've read the collar is seen more as protection/an engagement "ring" so I can see why a partner giving you one without talking to you first would be offensive. In some other ones it's seen more as like something to bind you to them. I still think it mostly comes down to a consent though
from the black haired dude only seeing hyung with his heart eyes, to the brother trying to set them up even though he feels bad every single time to the brother childish reaction when balck hair dude got angry with him when he said he knew everything....
yeah this isn't written as badly but dam hyung is so boring that it makes the balck hair dude's love seem stupid
I like how somewhat realistic it was, not super fluffy and uke didn't completely fall in love in like the 20th chapter.
what I didn't like was how the uke treated the seme and blue hair dude relationship, they weren't even boyfriends they just hooked up once and didn't kiss as much....it was nasty coming from someone who had multiple relationships and slept with other people
I could see how he would feel self-conscious about his boyfriend still being friends with his ex-hookup but still having that reaction was too childish.
I don't think it was a "nasty" reaction, since when he'd asked if they'd dated (also thus implying "have you had a sexual relationship/encounter with them"?) he was told "no" only to find out later that the person he'd thought was just a friend had had sex with his bf/prospective bf. Maybe that doesn't matter to you, but it does to many people because if it happened once, then it's easier for it to happen again (ie: getting back with an ex). It's not that having hookups is the problem, or having dated (because the uke dated in the past) it was the fact that that aspect of the relationship was *hidden* from him when he fairly explicitly asked about it.
I can't understand how noel still loved the brother, like okay you stayed away with lukas and so you can protect the brother from doing worse.
you already know he is insane enough to do so and you still loved him? then he caused the explosion of the lab and killed like 5 people at least can't remember, sexually harassed rain and blackmailed him to ruin lukas, hired more alphas to fuck with rain and potential assault him....and you still love him?
oh right he was a slut sleeping with people left and right and when he fucked you for like 3 days and chained you in a hotel room to fuck up rain's career...like regardless if you don't give a fuck about omegas how can you see this insane behaviour and think yup I still love him
absolutely no redeeming to the brother. it felt like the author wanted to have a side couple so baaaad she just shitted this
omg exactlyyyy i lowkey hated noel for exact exact reason. like why tf do you like a rapist/murderer/harraser/insane person??? like bffr. I started to hate noel when he got bitchy with rain in that cafe after rain left lukkas. life wtf is he mad at rain for leaving his abuser???? anyway you just reminded me why i dropped <3
Not defending lukas, but he did a 180 there and stayed on that degree. Rain deserves better than him ngl but i guess he did redeem himself for the better. Joshua, on the motherfucking hand, can't even turn or stay at 45° because he's shitty and wants his brother to suffer which resulted multiple innocent lives to be ruined. And he still feels he's the victim till the end. I hate Noel for defending him and i hope they stay soooo far away from Rain's family

I feel empty
