Rather then making him join university/college giving therapy make MC capable member of society. He made him dependency on him. He is litterly police himself first thing should be therapy so atleast MC opens up about himself
It's a stretch to generalize that BL fans love grooming lol but many just refuse to see that it is indeed present in the story. And yes to all the rest of the points you've said. It strikes me weird that the dude is involved in police work but is having this type of relationship with the mc.
