I knew the step daughter and the fortune teller would become a thing from literally when the fortune teller first glanced at her!!
I LOVED THIS MANHWA! A MASTERPIECE!!
It's surreal how much I could relate to shim cheong and madam and every other woman in this manhwa in terms of how women are treated, how they react to it, what they feel and how they want to be liked by everyone-how I want to be liked by everyone and how hard and draining it is to maintain that like....I literally have to be fake infront of elderly people to be liked and considered good.
Honestly fuck that shit, I want to be like Shim cheong-I will be like Shim Cheong and voice my opinions whether they like it or not. I will be brave like Madam and rather than run away I will struggle and strive to become better no matter how I am.
Checked my updates and mistook this manhwa for "solo for two" and was hella confused when people mentioned tragedy, death and dying in the comments (I'm letting this marinate so not reading atm). I was like wtf wasn't this suppose to have a happy end?
Well going by the spoilers in the comments I'm definitely not reading this until it's complete.
Y'all the story is set this way. The author made Jiho do this for character development.
He thinks he has to make up with his father even after all the things his father has done cause they're fAmIlY.
I personally think he'll learn that you don't have to forgive a person just cause they're family.
As for Inwoo, I personally think the author will introduce a valid reason for his mother leaving and I don't think they'll keep in touch but I do think that some kind of reconciliation will take place.
Cannot wait for Chungi and Boram interaction though

Ngl that really was a crazy psycho sonuva bitch move
