To be honest this story feels like reading a teenager's fantasy. I'm gonna bet that either the author is a highschool/college kid around the age of the self-insert protagonist or a very immature adult that never grew mentally.
In option a it feels wrong to read it as an adult but many teenagers go through the "I want to do things with an adult" because they're too young to be understand what it means, so it's natural they come up with those stories.
If it's option b... Yeah they need help.
