All you have to do is have it marked as reading or read and it does that. You don't need to rate to get notifications

Lyle discomfort was so clear you could tell he wasn’t into it and only went along because he loves Ash and would do anything for him. A caring partner should notice that and stop, not push harder. You know what. I'm actually really happy that was said. You know how long we typically have to wait for things to develop. This means we might actually get them admitting feeling much sooner than other stories! I'm totally hyped
