What’s your guys’s opinion on why Xin and Lau didn’t confess to each other?

Yes, I think so too. I think because of the power imbalance, Lau feels that the bond between him and Xin isn't "real" per se? As in, since they've been forced together there was no room for their feelings to naturally grow and develop. They've been resolved to this predetermined destiny to belong together, which only drives them further apart, despite not being able to live without one another.

the power imbalance is obviously a huge part abt it, but i also feel like lau's too emotionally constipated and traumatized to even admit he loves xin. we know lau has abandonment issues from his sister, and knowing that xin could just leave him at any time, ig lau never wanted to show xin that vulnerable side of himself. the fact that xin actually left him before doesn't help at all. idk how they're even going to repair their relationship after this, my boy lau's basically been shellshocked and i think it'll be very hard for him to trust xin after this.
as for xin i think he feels that (in the present moment) it would be a burden to lau or maybe that lau would just see it as another way to control him. xin was pretty flirty in the past tho haha in the aquarium flashback he's already saying he loves that fish (the fish thats supposed to be like lau lmao).

We all have different opinions, but some of you are definitely being biased especially when it comes to cirrus and forget everything that Skyler went through and what cirrus did. They’re both not perfect. They made mistakes and they were both wrong. I don’t understand why some of you refuse to see that. If you’re taking sides and think Skyler didn’t suffer enough then you simply didn’t understand the story. This season was about them taking accountability for their actions, especially cirrus and healing. Not for your typical chasing arc because again this is not your typical bl. It’s supposed to be realistic. I do believe it was a little rushed and there was some unresolved questions but overall this was an amazing story to read and I am happy and sad that it has finally come to an end.

I love Lost in the Cloud and think it’s very well written. Paskim is an amazing author, but I felt the ending was a bit rushed, leaving some unanswered questions. For example, the relationship between Cirrus and Rin felt unresolved. While she might be a side character, she’s an important part of Cirrus’ life, considering they were best friends for most of their lives. Their falling out was significant, yet the story never shows them reconciling or finding closure, which left their relationship feeling incomplete. We can just assume but overall I think the end could’ve been better. I am no way throwing shade Paskim again she’s a great author, and I understand that she has many health issues which I do think could play in the fact that the story felt just a little rushed.

The story actually alludes to Ri-In/Cirrus’ reconciliation in ch 129 when Cirrus takes the 1st step towards the reconciliation and gifts her a box of chocolates and on it a post-it note encouraging her for her exams. So it’s implied looking by her surprised gaze and everything else that they rekindled.
As a writer the author herself follows a different approach in her story: in some parts of the story she prefers to let actions talk rather an exhaustive detailed dialogue and scene. And personally I find it pretty cool.
On the other hand, if after the break the writer decides to throw some side stories all these “tiny details” some people wanna see maybe will be fulfilled in there.
For instance, I wanted to see more on the Cirrus/father’s relationship front. And see if in the end his father might redeem himself.

I hated this. Why the fuck did she end up with a man? It didn’t even make sense. It felt like she got into a loveless marriage like this should’ve been a gl. Why do fls always have to end up with a man even if it doesn’t make sense.

I had an introspective think about it awhile back, and honestly it just kinda felt like the author low key hated lesbians. After I thought about it more, tbf. I don't remember a lot of the story anymore, and that could definitely be an over exaggeration from me.... BUT. I'm going to ramble for a bit. First off. There's the title of the story. The pet of the villainess/the antagonist's pet. Obviously that is specifically pointing out Sasha. The main character. BUT, it also highlights Rebecca.... The other part of the title. At the very start, Rebecca has a very active role in the story, she is actively in the foreground of the story. And Rebecca+sasha even have a moment where they say they'll never leave each other. Ok. Awesome! That's great. But then slowly.... Things start to.... Yeah. Rebecca begins to get screwed over at almost EVERY point of the story.... For NO reason. It provides ZERO to the narrative. First off, Rebecca starts to change her diet for Sasha, because she loves her (and that's canon). It's a bit overbearing and that's totally reasonable. She becomes a knight for Sasha and because of that.... Rebecca. Just stops showing up??? From being a foreground character to barely showing up anymore?? And then when she comes back, finding out Sasha was injured from something (don't remember what). She's very excited to give Sasha that healing potion and tell her, that it's okay for Sasha to rely on her more, since she can be a bit distant and kinda pushed away those kinds of gestures..... Only for her to be a tiny bit late because the dragon guy healed her already. And then you'd think. Oh ok, maybe this'll come back again later, it'll surely become a plot point of conflict. Nope! Doesn't come up again. Later, Sasha has trouble with that one guy, and the stale bread green hair guy shoe horned into the story proposes to her. ????? Again, Rebecca is conveniently oddly missing Everytime. They have a talk and she's upset about it. Green hair reassures him, and it makes you think, oh maybe they'll address this more again later. They don't! And the kicker is green hair dude randomly says (paraphrasing, I really don't wanna reread) "maybe in another time period your love would work out". Girliepop. *YOU* live in this time period, that is not YOU saying those words. That's the author inserting an excuse on why Sasha and Rebecca can't get together. The two of you are LITERALLY planning to overthrow the kingdom. WHY, can't the two of them get together if that's the case? Rebecca starts showing up less and less, all her sacrifices for Sasha end up not amounting to a whole lot of tangible things inside the story. Just a lot of suffering just to suffer. And then they pull the, only green hair dude really understands Sasha, like ofc it's the man who does. And none of the women. Or Rebecca (who DOES), understand sasha btw. And to me it kinda feels like... This particular part you can probably ignore, it's definitely me tinfoil hatting. That like. This+the constant denial of Rebecca (which I'm NOT finished with btw). Feels like, to ME. It doesn't have to other people. That the author is low key taking a shot at lesbians, that their relationships aren't really real and that a guy would understand better. I didn't word that properly, but I did the best I could. Ok back to Rebecca. Ok. If Rebecca can't get together with Sasha. SURELY, she can at least get sweet justice vs the prince right? But then dragon dude literally shows up OUT OF NOWHERE????? AND DENIES HER REVENGE???? FOR NO REASON???? WHY?????? THAT ADDS ZEROOOOOOO TO THE NARRATIVE. WHY DOES REBECCA PERMA GET SCREWED OVER BY EVERY EVENT BY CHANCE, AND NONE OF THEM ADD ANYTHING TO THE STORY EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT SHE GETS SCREWED OVER. Like ofc it's the canon gay girl that constantly gets screwed over. At least Sasha has plausible deniability, and the main character, so she's safe. And it just makes me so sad. So MADDDDD, that they did that to Rebecca. And for what. From a forefront relevant main character, to a background character. Always screwed over by some unlucky timing. Because she just so conveniently happened to- Every. Single. Time. No reason at all. And this type of unlucky timing. *Only*. Happened to her. Why. Pisses me off every time.
I’m not surprised they work their authors to death specifically women. Not that long ago they were doing the top manhwa authors, not a single female author was in the top 10 even though they worked just as hard or even more than their male coworkers. I have never even seen some of the titles that were in the top 10.
