I thought Siyeol really do have feelings for the MC from when they where young but MC doesn't remember him or something, it turns out nothing like that, I just realized how pure I think
lol me too. I was disappointed too but in a way this plot would be more interesting as we can see Siyeol will fall deeply in love with Na sooner or later. The other plot is pure and cute but pretty predictable.
I agree with you I prefer this storyline too, even thought I'll have to deal with getting heartbroken ╥﹏╥ so glad I saw the spoilers!

Remember when he asked about how the first emperor died? he was asking himself how he endured it.. So he's talking here about the curse so we're know sure he either went back in time after he died, or he turned time back using magic.. and remember how he got mad when the FL said she likes handsome people, he then mumbles " I'm younger", that means he lived for a long time enduring the curse and turning old..is what I would like to think
