I was so worried the mom was going come into the story like so many of these types of stories do, but I'm glad she didn't.
I don't like in stories when a character has an abusive and/or absent parent(whether homophobic neglectful etc.) and is resentful of them(rightfully so) and then the character or their partner and/or child meets them in a grocery store or something and the parent comes back and the character has to forgive them and let them in their life because "they've changed" or "they like the grandchild so its all fine now" love that this BL didn't do this

whoever did the translation for that chapter why? If you were trying to be funny you failed badly at it it just ruins the imersion in the story

i was so excited when the anime adaptation announcement first came out but now that it's 2024 and the anime is close, i'm starting to feel worried for the backlash. i didn't expect this manga to be the first omegaverse anime and i'd hate to see my beloved characters getting discriminated in a world where prejudice already runs rampant
