Right? They keep calling her dumb, but these bishes keep forgetting (or have poor reading comprehension) that Mincheol and Haesu ARE legally divorced. A lot of what is said about Ari could easily be said about Haesu. The only enemy is Mincheol.

They still run with the propaganda that Aeri slept with him and chased him while knowing that he was married. She legit called him a bastard when she found out that he married, and after falling in the trap of Minshit, that she unfortunately forgave him.

Not everyone is saying that though. Here are the other reasons why ppl hate Ari:

-27 year old grown woman ignoring all the signs of disinterest from the man she only ever has sex with

-wanting a family and wanting to be pregnant from a man who hasn’t even proposed or even asked her out

-ignoring a friend she’s known for longer, and not wanting to listen to her friend cause she’s obsessed with a man

-being hostile the very first time she saw haesoo (the scene where she was under an umbrella with mincheol and clung to mincheol while glaring at haesoo just for standing in front of them)

-telling mincheol he can crash her car cause her dad would get her a new one. (She knows how much her dad adores her, so she’s the type to take advantage of ppl’s affection)

Did you read my post and comment? I dislike her, and think that she is very sheltered to the point of blindness, and she is victim of brainwashed patriarchy.
I refer to her antis who spread the propaganda that she slept with him while knowing that he is married, which is utterly false.

-she’s 25 which is still pretty young, especially since she’s clearly been sheltered and spoiled her whole life. Her life experience has clearly been limited, which is why she is not seeing the warning signs of how Mincheol is using her.

-her wanting a baby and not thinking of what that really entails only adds to the fact that she is immature. It’s really not as sinister as others are making it. She’s not poking holes in condoms; he knows when he’s not using a condom. It takes 2 to make a baby. He may not have proposed to her, but he’s living at her place, like a live in boyfriend would

-some sad news, but ppl in relationships with manipulative and abusive partners will not only ignore friends’ concerns but even family members. it’s hard & frustrating to see, and it can isolate them, which makes it even more difficult to get out of the relationship

-hostile?? This is a perspective thing because I saw it as a “wtf is going on” face. And idk, but “glaring” in one panel is not enough to earn the condemnation she has. It feels like using an excuse just to dislike her.

-the car thing only adds to the evidence that she has been spoiled by her parents. At worst, so far she’s just been a spoiled brat. It’ll be interesting to see what happens if her parents step in. I’m hoping the dad kicks Mincheol’s ass.

To me, the worst woman so far is the flower store co-worker; she has purposely made Haesoo feel insecure. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

I gave other reasons for why people don’t like her, it isn’t up for debate. These are reasons for people who don’t think ari is a homewrecker or evil. Just that they don’t like her. And none of what I said sides with mincheol nor does it imply that Ari is just as bad as him. This wasn’t a hate comment for Ari. This was an explanation for why some ppl may not like her.

Anyways sure if you want to talk about it:
Chapter 47, she says she’s 26. I hate the “they’re immature and young” argument. Most of what you said is blatantly excusing everything for her being immature and spoiled. Did you not think that there’s a lot of people in general who don’t like immature characters. And that’s a valid reason to dislike a character regardless. There’s not enough info to even say she’s sheltered, she’s just rich and gullible. Being naive doesn’t automatically mean a person is sheltered from the world.

The baby thing where in the latest chapter she says “that was my chance!” To get pregnant. It shows signs that she doesn’t really consider what her partner wants too, even when he also rejected the idea of having a kid or getting married in chapter 47. She’s thinking her getting pregnant is an opportunity to marry the guy she wants.

The glaring thing was odd simply because a woman stood in front of them and was looking at them. In general, there’s ppl irl who lose their temper when someone even looks their way. And that shows some signs of who they are. The fact that she said “oh she’s your family” and immediately stops glaring, makes me think she was on guard thinking it’s a girl that also likes mincheol.

And finally, I honestly think the car thing was the worst of it all. It’s actually concerning you just brushed it off as her being spoiled. She KNOWS her father adores her. She is willing to USE her own parent’s affection to get what she wants. That is a RED FLAG. Any human being who uses their parent’s affection to their advantage, is inconsiderate and selfish. At the end of the day, readers are allowed to dislike who they want. They don’t need you to find every reason to come to her defense and excuse everything with immaturity. If you can brush off every single thing with her age alone, what do you think of 20+ year old bullies? That logic of immaturity being a valid reason, is so off.
