What a major POS. He's def the type to one day murder his spouse in a crime of passion. Girl, get out of there. This was a mid-ass manga about a boring ass couple, saved only by the well-written female chatacter. Poor thing is stuck in a mediocre manga surrounded by mediocre men.

Sakuraba is the cliche of the closeted man with internalized (might not be so internalized) misogyny and homophobia, he goes from being scared to be seen as “abnormal” to showing his feelings and being vulnerable little by little. i’m not saying he wasn’t trash at first because that would be lying, he was a playboy with little to no regards for the women he dated (then again he’s a misogynistic), we can see that this come from how he was educated which isn’t a justification but an explanation. He sees Asami as unmanly (such a weird word) and is repulsed by his own attraction to him due to his internalized homophobia. at the end of the manga, not only does he tell asami he loves him but he also shows improvement in his behavior (crying in front of asami, learning how to cook which is often seen as a “woman hobby” etc…). the end is an amorce to a more honest future for them both.
now there’s some think I didn’t quite like and I think we’re unnecessary: the cheating plot wasn’t needed at all… I think it goes against Asami’s straight forward way of acting and doesn’t really match his character when you know he was aware of his chef having a wife. The ex is really disappointing as well and doesn’t deserve his wife… lastly I didn’t like the moment when Asami was telling Sakuraba about how he didn’t wanted to be treated like a woman (he said smth along the lines of “I won’t laugh or be happy if you pay the bill and hold the door for me like a woman would), honestly pretty weird if you ask me, women aren’t just simple being who needs things to be paid for and door to be help open for them to be happy, and reducing them to that is meh… wish the author would have developed deeper into the misogynistic aspect of the story.

Aight first off she is in no way obligated to show respect to this guy. She didn't know him and to top it off she found out that he was stalking her. she's not a "bitch" for not wanting to go or for burning that creepy ass notebook.
I mean, how would you feel if some fucking guy asked you to go to the funeral of a guy who you didn't even know, just because the dead guy had a crush on you. And then while at the funeral his mom gives you his diary that's filled with thing's about you, with specific dates and times. LIKe bitch? I'd be creeped the fuck out!
what's worse is that his own mother and best friend just stood on the sidelines and let him be a little creeper, they inhibited that stalking behaviour, which would only make him think that he isn't doing anything wrong.

I honestly have no idea as to why anyone hates this girl. She's coping quite well with having found out that she was being stalked.

The art cover was a set up. A landmine. My mind exploded after only four pages into the first chapter.

Chapter 74 is by far the most infuriating shit chapter I've read ever since the new story started. Hyun, I had hope for you. So tell me why are you spouting the same nonsense as everyone else? Why is this happening? And Kiwoon? What can I even say to you? I'm not denying that what happened to Kiwoon wasn't traumatizing but there's a limit to how much concern can be shown to someone who physically suffered for one day and maybe emotionally suffered for a few more that too as a figment of his own imagination. 

Jaeha didn't go through years of mental, physical, and physiological abuse to be termed the attacker and have the one guy who he thought he could look to help for terms as the victim. Every single thing in their conversation made it seem like Kiwoon didn't think Jaeha was worthy of getting any help or assistance because he hit him once. It's insane that everyone in this story only sees Jaeha as an antagonist either to be hated or tamed. 

It is sickening and I worry for Jaeha even more because no one around him is willing to admit that he suffered the most and is most deserving of any and every kind of help. It feels like the author is unsure how to represent the characters they wrote, they don't realise the narrative they're setting up is wrong.

Imagine if Jaeha by chance heard anyone of what they had said to each other, all the efforts he'd put into moving on would be undone and he would run away again this time permanently scared for like because the one person he thought he could trust saw him as an attacker instead of the person whose been trying to get help all this time.

But anyway, this is all the mother's fault, so she pisses me the fuck off. if she hadnt controlled and imprisoned Jaeha in a bird trap, then he wouldnt have merged his art aestheic with his philosophy and become detached from reality. He wouldnt have proposed to Dami so soon, nor be as attracted to her. The same goes with his relationship with Na-Eun. And I just gotta say-- hes so idea with the concept of a child, but what about actually raising the child??? Ugh, and Dami's childhood was very, very interesting. Its borderline incest propelled by a sister shoehorned into the role of a mother who has an extreme desire to have her sister's beautiful body. Ive never seen anything like this before, and I applaud the author for this... If it werent for everyone being deranged in some capacity, I wouldve given this a 5/5 (￣∇￣")

This story is a coming of age that it's unapologetically pedophilic, is so on the nose that Haru is grooming Ren (Ren not knowing sex ed even after doing sexual acts with Haru) and it's insane how nobody In the show says smth about how sexual acts on a kid may messed him up/is very wrong (ik Haru refuses to go all the way but the masturbation and oral sex is just as harmful as well), is a horrible how they don't even pretend that Ren is mature for his age yk? When Ren wants more intimacy Haru says he is just a kid that doesn't know, IF YOU KNOW HE IS JUST A KID WHY PERFORM ORAL SEX WITH HIM? The hypocrisy is insane I hate it. I'm only staying for natsuo and the doctor to end up together ik is another age gap but the doctor didn't see natsuo growing up and just when natsuo was a kid then an adult.

Medea is really the worse thing that happened to Helios. Now I'm at a point where wish he had died with his parents. It would have been unfortunate, but at least, he would have died knowing real love.
