This author is such a talented mangaka

oh the way i had to get up from my bed walk around a little and breathe after reading that whole "i cant be with you because im a horrible person" or whatever nonsense... first of all-- cringe??? second-- girl pls move on this guy is not worth it you deserve better

The teacher might really have valid reasons. We might really understand her side and what she's going through. Her actions might be justified once we hear her reasons. However, what isn't justifiable is literally acting like an antagonist to someone's life. If this happened in real life, I probably won't forgive her for making a LITERAL CHILD be anxious. She literally want someone to drop out just because of her "reasons". Her feelings might be valid but the fact that she wanted to control her students lives when she couldn't even control her own is just plain ridiculous. If she cannot handle her own problems, she should get help. ik that the concept of therapy might be foreign to them compared to western countries bUT YK AT LEAST TALK TO SOMEONE???? ASK SOMEONE TO HELP YOU GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS???? But the thing is, she refused to listen nor ask anything so she's letting every possible emotions and problems she has towards her students, who are LITERAL CHILDREN.

Thank god for these children to have each other to help one another because if an adult is acting this way, we cannot expect these students to ask another adult, a teacher, for help in defending them. She couldn't even do her job properly bro I hope she gets a character development somehow. I hope she heals about whatever's hurting her.

Love love this manga! Romance is never boring (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

I love author but is it just me who think author can't pretty much draw different character design I mean not to criticize them but why the heck ml family look all same like his dad is is his older version his mum is his female version and his brother is just him in bit long hair and small height and edgy outfit it is as if his mum and dad were siblings who got married but yea also glad this story is now going somewhere like not stuck at ml hiding things from ml I mean he is into that still but atleast we see some process

y'all acting like internalized homophobia isn't a thing, mans grew up being taught that being a coward is good, ofc he's oughta be frustrated about his feelings and ran away from it. It's actually realistic irl, but it's great that he self reflected and got over it. Remember when he said "it's just normal" when he kissed kaede? yeah cause he got scared that he won't be normal again if he pursued his love for him. Bottomline he was raging in the closet and that's understandable.

Tf?

Tf? There are real lesbians tho. Claudine's not a man, but a lesbian woman. Is something missing in translation? She's a perfect girl with a tragic past. Her late father was in a pederasty relationship with a young boy which is basically pedophilia (disgusting pos of a father. he traumatized Claudine sm that she's couldn't speak of the trauma. Poor mom, being described as bland. The psyc is an asshole. If they let women do more during that time, that'd be no place for misogyny to happen).

I recommend for the quick paced story. Excellent writing. Makes your blood boil.

Melodrama: Not that dramatic. I'll give it a rank 2 out of 100. I prefer longer stories. Preferably not narrated from the psyc.'s pov. The narration is not bad, it's bland.

Art: sorry. not my taste. it's very ugly. I'll refrain from rating.

I feel like the longer this gets, the more the author messes up with the characters. At this point, im tired of every arc resetting everything they've accomplished as a couple to 0. Kai was distant and kind of a dick at the beginning, and that worked because they were first year children, and single. Him being an ok boyfriend was fine at the time, but after 2 years dating he is so stand off-ish at times that I honestly think Uka is heading into a very dangerous path of devoting her 100% only to get like 5% from him.

I'm sure the author has this very glittery picture of A Knight in Shining Armor when she makes Kai save the day at the last minute and show his "love" for Uka, but after SO MANY plot points of the same thing happening, it just comes off as a "here, damn it" moment. From a reader's point of view, it reads as Kai not caring until he can't ignore it anymore. His suave persona just doesn't hit the same when we've seen his girlfriend try her absolute best to make things work and be understanding, and he's just there thinking "what? they're hitting on me? well, uka doesn't seem to have anything to say so whatever". It's not a matter of she says it or not, it does not make for an appealing ML to have him act the same way he did as when he was single. Like with this last arc, Kai acted as if it was insane that Uka doubted his feelings. He's just so sure she should be understanding bc he kisses her like once every 10 chapters, but what he should be doing is enforcing and enforcing his boundaries with Ami. He said he didn't like her and she didn't understanding? OK, we've established she's a delusional creep. so what can we do? He should stop talking to her at all, if just being a decent person is what's making her understand the wrong message. He sees how with a mere greeting she gets bolder and bolder, and yet he not only does nothing when he clearly knows it bothers Uka even when she doesn't say anything, but he keeps giving a psycho more material to fuel the delusion. for example, taking her side when she was confronted by Uka's friends: no one said anything wrong nor threatened her, they didn't push her into a corner, they just told her "Enough is enough. this is getting crazy" and what? Kai says "omg you 3rd years ganging on this innocent 1st year"? Bullshit. She's been shown to be bold and shameless towards trolls on the internet, this is nothing to her. And then author makes Kai take her side and expect us to think Uka is an idiot for doubting herself? plz

And when it comes to Uka I fear I've also come to be disappointed with her character progress. I don't know what it is with Japanese mangakas that they always seem to confuse being kind to being a pushover. Being kind is helping others, yes, and Uka does it and its really cute. But letting others trample over you and just accommodate to others to not make things awkward is not being kind, and I fear thats also a very dangerous message to give. Uka constantly lets others walk all over her and its portrayed as something noble, when it is not. its very sad and pitiful and no one should aspire to be like that.

And talking about dangerous, ill mention the deranged character they introduced this past update: the influencer. Again, I fear she was also born from a minscontructed idea the author has of what it means "being true to yourself". Being you doesn't give you the right to hurt others. If she wanted Ami to be liked and forgiven by her audience, she shouldn't have portrayed her as a disgusting pick me. Author actually did pretty well the first time with Serina: she is flashy, bubbly and pretty. And people like her because being "privileged " didn't make her a prick... which is what happened with Ami. Author made a "look at her, she's a fighter! a warrior of love! we all have crushes, you can't blame her" which, no, she's free to have a crush, what she's not free to do is stalking and being disgusting to her crush. There was also this parallel where they showed Ami being stalked, and it was portrayed as something negative (as it should be) but at the same time, Author wanted us to forgive and like Ami, who was doing the same, or even worse, to Kai AND Uka? Author tried to wish wash what Ami did because she got hate only for GETTING BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE IN A LOVING RELATIONSHIP. That's the most valid call out I've ever seen in my life, and author wants us to think she's being bullied online? she's not. people have no issue with her having a crush, they rightly got angry because she acted like a total jerk who was entitled to be with her crush just because she wanted to, despite being rejected and told to tone it down multiple times. This is not a "forgive her, she's in love" matter, this was stalking, and caused emotional distress on people. its disgusting. And she didn't feel one bit sorry about it. she just felt for herself. this is not something a character can recover from, like with Nano. It's borderline a crime (considering she uploaded faces to socials without consent too).

I wish it could have had a satisfactory solution, like it happened with the bullies: Uka forgived them after a long trial of events, but they were punished for their acts. That was a good resolution. Uka should not have to forgive Ami. SHE IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND INSANE. it also sets back Uka as a character and I would understand people hating on her: the whole point of the story was that Uka got more confident, and her love made her better, but I think author forgot about it and just keeps making Uka a pushover over and over again to keep the story running.

Whatever has the author been thinking with these last updates, seriously?

Anyways, sorry for my TED Talk, I just needed to vent. I'd love to hear what others think about the progress of this story too! ヾ(☆▽☆)
