Electric chair to those who are reading this and don't mind how fucked up the age gap is. But most of all, the strongest electric chair should be reserved for the author.
Ahahah comment section on fire. This being a fiction doesnât make it less irritating. There is a grown, adult man and a kid. Thatâs all. That man can love a boy when he is still a middle schooler (stilldisgustingbutletâssayokay) but he should not influence him or put him in a relationship like that.
He especially manipulated him with rejecting and âyou love me but you donât awareâ plan. Kid thought his feeling were just adore why did you made him believe itâs not? Why didnât wait for him to graduate from high school? Why did you have sex with him while heâs still student? There are so many power imbalance in this relationship like a adultxkid or studentxteacher. He doesnât have a proper family who can protect him from any kind of harm, he doesnât have anyone to rely on except from ml. This is frustrating.
This is not about being fiction or reality guys, what is wrong is wrong. If you agree with this wrong but still choose to read, it okay ofc itâs your choice, enjoy it. But if you donât find all of this wrong and disturbing, then go find a therapist.
I started reading this when I was in high school and thought it was cute and now as a teacher I find this so disturbing Masahiro looks and acts like a kid and I can't see why a grown adult would be attracted to that unless they are a pedophile. I know that I don't have to read it and I won't continue to, but comments are for sharing thoughts and I'm just sharing my thoughts.
Man, I always tried to fool myself into ignoring the age gap but I just can't anymore, these last updates made me feel gross.
And I can't help to feel like Masahiro is mature in many aspects, but emotionally immature like any other teenager. He's being treated as a housewife (in Kousuke's words, even) and does everything around the house, while his grown ass adult "boyfriend" relies almost entirely on him. Masahiro even works more, given that he has/had a job, he's a student and he tends to everyone else in the house + his friends.
I feel like it's not going anywhere anymore. At the beginning I hoped the author will make Masahiro grow up quickly and show them dating as adults to make it more palatable, but he's not even in his last year yet.
Kousuke is just a pedo, plain and simple. I'm getting older myself and I know that I have almost nothing in common with high school students, not even to be their friend (unless I'm an advisor, or they're the children of friends of mine and they look up to me).
Iâm not gonna comment on the red flags that have always been in this story that require heavy doses of suspension of disbelief, I just wanted to say smth i always found funny. That being, itâs teased somewhat carelessly whether the detective guy actually cares about his friendâs grooming a little boy or not, but what really gets me is the fact that iirc, they straight up âtest himâ to make sure he wonât report the fact that heâs getting statutorily raped by kousuke . Like if youâre gonna make an unethical fictional age gap romance, at least stop reminding ppl of the fact that you know itâs wrong??? Self-awareness is NOT the kind of look you wanna be going for when you do it so half-assedly (by trying to play it off and writing any personal sentiments into the characters as a stand in) and for the sake of (I assume) deflecting criticism. At least have the integrity and balls to be properly honest about what the story is or donât mention it at all. Having a character expressly question the actions of the ML but not actually have him face the consequences and take accountability for it just means itâs a pointless plot point that just serves to add drama. It serves no narrative function (in terms of character development) other than make-up rape (i donât really consider it sex tbh that man is like 30 â ) and padding out chapters. Again, I donât want to go into yapping anyoneâs eyes out but I still think its so funny to âtestâ a minor and be like âbut you wonât tell anyone, right?â
Last little side note: The beginning 2 volumes were so wild⌠(so was the whole series but) Kousuke behavior is so crazy bc why is this grown ass man gatekeep girlboss GASLIGHTING a teenager into believing heâs in love with him like brother has NOTHING better to do. As Iâve gotten older, itâs become kind of a turn-off that a man that age is THAT emotionally immature, and donât get me wrong, I like my men ***pathetic***
Anyways: certified loverboy certified pedophile
I already loved the one-shot of that author and i can guess that this new work will have an anime adaptation after a few years, and will be successful
Loving it now
Wishing suffering to the father isn't enough, i need to participate on his downfall

I can't take this crap seriously. The author is sick in the head. And making the MC buddying with his rapist and the rapist acting like NOTHING happened is batshit crazy
