Eh... how far have you been reading if I may ask? Cuz from what I understand from reading though, it was the system that saved Eden from.his tragedy... and gives Eden chance to become better because the missions are for Eden to become a "good" idol. If bot for the mission thag made him "forced" to do it, I doubt he will come to love the members as he currently is...

One of the bad parts of the system is that he has to constantly mind what he says, does, and probs thinks so as not to lose sincerity points and regress again. It's pretty much acting like a toxic helicopter parent that only wants the best grades from their puppet of a child.

At first, yeah it does seem like that. But after reading far enough to see what actually happens, to me it's the system's effort to prevent Eden from going strays like he did in the past that leads to his tragedy.... simply because the way he acted in the past, there's so much misunderstanding caused by the way he speak and act. He thought everyones hates him and everyone thought Eden is looking down on them. We can't deny that Eden used to be so prickly and rude, the system wanted to change that, and Eden eventually understands his member's struggles and what they're thinking. I don't think it's evil. It does looks like a toxic helicopter parents but I don't think it's all there's to it. There's a certain "goal" that guides Eden to be better than he did in the past life.

I'll give it the benefit of the doubt then. I just have lots of qualms with trashy systems that toy with the MC or appear sinister by hiding the truth, becoming a parasite, etc.

It did toy with Eden but in the end the punishment are like childplay because of how absurd they are instead of harming. Like paralyzing at worst or, regressing his personality without memories intact to let the members (Dojin) see Eden's pain, making curse words that come out of his mouth become sweet words... none of it actually harms Eden...

Yeah please , I am begging just bring him back .
