Why does he disregard business (especially serious business like a serial killer on the loose) for the sake of personal vendetta? A friend is missing and I'm getting violated constantly by my superior. And the reason why there are so many victims is because of the superior's negligence. There is no freaking way I would develop a liking for that superior. This is not turning on and all I feel is discomfort and anger...and if the uke does continue to be so pathetically used and distracted from his job like this, all that setting up of his character as a young genius and force to be reckoned with would be so pathetically useless. When you set up a strong character and make them useless, it hurts my (reader's) sensibilities! What is this old trope of 'taming the shrew'? I can't call this sexist but...what an annoying discrimination against all the ukes out there...^giggle^ I sound ridiculous but I'm hoping you guys get it.

It's the best decision to stay away from the emperor. If they do end up together, it's not just 'marrying one's lover.' It's marrying the EMPEROR and becoming the EMPRESS. That's not an easy job and also, quite frankly, it would be boring for her considering all the things she can do OUTSIDE the palace.
He killed his daughter...even if he later regretted it, he did live with her all that time but he chose to beleive someone who came in later rather than the person who he was with all that while. I mean, this manhwa is cute and sweet and all but those first few chapters were really intense and heartbreaking. There's no way i would forget them, and what he did to his daughter. So, screw the butler character trying to make the Duke look humane to us, the readers, cause he sure as hell ain't that.
It's more than not being honest,, he just don't care at all, it seem like he is the kind of person who realize someone value only after he lost it.
Right and I don’t see any type of redemption that he could possibly get to make me forgive him because regardless of the reasoning, his perspective, or any misunderstanding he still killed her so
