I think his voice has the power to persuade someone. Whenever he uses the ocean background in his voice, people listen to him. So, when he asked the other dude to fall in love with him, the man immediately said "I love you." Which I guess is the tragedy of the story: True love as against being confounded by his words. He's always torn apart because of this I guess...

Is this a thing in Korea? SO MUCH of violence in young children. Life is pretty peaceful where we're from and if anything including a slight bullying takes place, the children are assaulted with counsellors, talks on values , ethics and respect.

I often wonder that, too! I mean, I assume there's some dramatisation, but it's a very common theme in high school- and even uni-based webtoons from Korea. I often read ones like that with my heart in my mouth, wondering how normal kids can survive in such an environment, and how the adults are so pathetic.
And I mean, as an adult and a teacher, I'd be afraid to go to work in those schools, knowing that no other adults would back me up...

Right right? Like even in japan literature. Like how common is physical bullying in these countries? I mean I'm not saying we dont have that in my country but usually our fiction depicts bullying as something more psychological (which im not saying is better because all forms of bullying is bad) because its the more common one.

it happens everywhere. It may be mentally or physically. I am a victim myself but only with words. My personality and circumstance is just sticking out compared to normal kids. Tho it might just be my pride but I kinda planned out their retribution by making them suffer through acads. Luckily I get awards without much effort do I kinda gave them a hard time when they need references in homeworks and projects. I know Im pretty bad for trying to exact get equal with. Its just, I cant let them get passed me and look down on me for being different.

Yah you are surely right, I'm from the Philippines too, and I see bullying everywhere in may school.
I was bullied too, by extortion and some guys always forcefully make me do their assignments always and sometimes the guy next to me always touch me but it has lessen now but it was a terrible experience.

Excessive and open bullying as seen in many of these webtoons does not by any means happen in every school in Australia.
Yes, bullying of some kind exists, but it is not common for someone to be physically abused in the way it is portrayed in webtoons. (For that matter, even a lot of the distinct social hierarchy portrayed in American film and TV is unlike most Australian schools.) The majority of Australian students go to school without witnessing any serious peer violence, let alone fearing it for themselves.
Korean webtoons give the impression that this violence is common, that every school has jjangs and bullies who'll beat people up on a whim, order people around, take their money and thrash to the point of hospitalisation (or worse) anyone who challenges their authority. It's bad enough that there are any kids in Australia who get severely bullied. I can't even fathom a reality where all students are afraid daily of getting on another student's bad side for fear of being ruthlessly beaten and bullied.
So, I was wondering if it's really that bad in Korea or if their webtoons just give that impression because they make up on storylines like that for drama and tension.

Why are the people in this manhwa so extreme?

Lol! Sounds like my in laws! They are so shameless how do they sleep at night?! They expect my husband to pay for everything just because he is kind and generous; the list is a mile long and he did pay for it BUT no more free loading. Now they show their true colors when they can't get what they want.

Ikr, my grandmother on my dad's side isn't too far off from the mother in law of theffort current arc. Always asking for money from my dad despite treating him the worst out of all her children and never showing appreciation. When I was younger she seriously exploited my mum when she lived with us. I do love her still since she's my grandmother but I wish she would like my mother as much as I like her too. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

I see what u mean, I grand mother from my mom's side only loves her grand children from my fifth uncle, she shows her action clearly it's like we have no place in her heart.
Although she's not greedy like the relative from my husband's side, she is biased towards us. She's pass away since. I wish your grandmother be nicer to your mom for your sake.

My FIL moved to the US years ago, when his father passed away he left a lot of land and money to all his children ( fil is one of like seven siblings or something). His siblings took all his land and inheritance, because "he lives in the US anyway and didn't need it." My fil didn't want to fight his siblings and just let them have it. So yes, real life family can be sucky.

That literally happened to my father. When his dad passed away, my grandmother took the will and split the money unfairly. Of course legally she split everything evenly but she did that only to give her favorite child he most money and property. I hope she really regrets that now and becomes a better person. I feel sorry for your FIL since it hits close to home.
The guy in the first story was such an ass. He just wanted a listener. When she tried telling him her story, he shut her off.
Guy in the second story is such a sweetheart.
