I am really enjoying this story. I’m still early but it was pretty clear they were going to have nonconsensual sex. Just look at what happened while they were on the train. This is toxic so I’m expecting all kinds of things, I just hope that he doesn’t betray the agent. Also this hay is very gullible at times so I think that may be why he was sent on this mission.
And no I’m excusing what he did to Taek but it was pretty clear this was heading towards the forceful path. I’m wondering how we’re going to go from this to “I love him” I’m assuming there will be no character development. It’ll just be a psychopath who fell in love with someone who could handle him.

I’ve only read the novels and I didn’t get the feeling that Taekjoo was dumb, but I’ve seen a lot of people commenting that’s he’s dumb. I wonder if it’s just the way the comic makes it seem.
Anyway, yes, it’s toxic, but it works for the type of characters they are.
If you want spoilers, let me know.

He’s not dumb I think it’s just the lack of experience coupled with his upbringings. He’s always worked on his own and if he was dumb his organization wouldn’t have tried to kill him. I might’ve used the wrong words and I wonder if the same happened with his grandfather, father and brother. This is interesting, I really like it. I’ve read toxic BLs but this seems to be a bit different. At first I thought the blonde guy was going to be like Ilay from passion but boy I was wrong. Either way I enjoyed his character, aside but I expected to happen considering he’s a psychopath. Who probably should’ve been sent to a mental hospital the minute he showed signs at such young age. Instead they provided him with a playground…
Every time I look at Beom’s face I can’t help but think about their daughter. If he goes around saying he birthed her people will believe him.
